Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

No hard feelings I get this asked a lot. The proper understand is a bit complex as it requires to understand ECDSA math. I wrote a post about it here[1]. The short version is: I never had your final key. You create one part and I the other. Only both parts can spend the funds on the vanity address and only you have them.

Electrum? You input your privkey and can sign the address. AFAIK core also has this functionality (I hope).

Off the top of my head,

Electrum
Mycelium
Core
Blockchain.info

I can confirm this, I've used it to use a vanity address as stake here.

Blockchain.info can also sign a message with any imported private key.

There was an import function on the old blockchain.info, I dont know if its still possible with the new version. From what I read people mostly have problems exporting private keys. I dont have access to one of the new wallet version though.

Because its too long. Even without exact case the estimate is ~450 years for a 50% chance.

Holy shit, didn't see that coming. So I assume I need to lower the amount of charachters, right?
If that is the case I am also fine with the prefix: 1Fruits I hope that will not take such a long time.

Yes, when the prefix is that long its the main reason for a long time / high price. There are some other factors that are a little more complex, e.g.

111111 has a 50% chance after 7.4 hours
1abcde has a 50% chance after 10 minutes

and 1Tdefghij is 23 times more difficult than 1Qdefghij (also see #2)

1Fruits (exact case) would be 0.0002 btc.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.
