Galaxy or iPhone?

I would like to get peoples opinion on whether they like iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy line better.  I have had the iPhone a few times and I always got rid of them, because I did not like all they did not have to offer that Android did.  So I am a Galaxy person.  I like the Samsung Galaxy hardware and how it looks and works.  Thinking of upgrading from by Galaxy S5, but I am not sure.  Any opinions.

If you want to get the most out of it you should jailbreak/root it. Without it you still have limitation on both android/iOS.

Left my Galaxy S3 2 months ago for LG G3 (was not happy with LG products in general but thought I would give it a try).  The G3 is much more responsive and less bloated than the newer S6 I tried.  Wouldn't ever consider IOS simply because of price.

I use the Samsung Note 5 for work, and iPhone 6S+ personally. Like the Apple ecosystem better but <shill-mode>GearVR for the newer Samsung devices is a pretty kick-ass option</shill-mode>

I have to voice my opinion again.  I am not sure if this issue is with Galaxy S5 or the Android operating update I did, but my phone has been running slow for about a week now and I did this android update and now the phone needs a complete reset.  Be warned guys and watch what you update.

Modern Galaxies have fucked themselves a bit by becoming more Iphone like. Why pay double for more storage when they used to have sd card slots? Same goes for removable batteries. I bought an S4 a while back. It was old and the battery was going. It was $10 for another one to bring it back good as new.

Android is far from perfect but it'll always be a better deal than Apple for me at least.

This is a very debatable question...

There are few people like you who don't be satisfied from Iphone. Most of the people who use Iphone, don't like to use Samsung Galaxy. So, my opinion is that people who prefer performance rather then design, they will choose the Android - Samsung Galaxy and the other part will choose the IOS - Iphone.

My first smartphone was Samsung Galaxy Chat. Honestly, I was really satisfied from the Android, but the phone was one of my ''best choice'' in my life! After 2 years I have decide to buy a new phone and I was thinking to change my OS. Microsoft Lumia was one of the options, but after I talked with few persons I have realize that it will be much better if I choose android phone, because by all statistics, Android is definitely No.1 software for smartphone.

Now I am using LG F60, but I am still a fan of Galaxy!

If you talk about lifetime for sure IPhone/iPad. Samsung devices are so quickly broken or have defects. Just a lifetime for 9/12 months After one year they are worn and totally exhausted.

Without a doubt, I felt Galaxy was more technical, you could customize and do more stuff with the software that the Samsung Galaxy shipped out with. But with the iphone, it was more practical and just user focused. Things weren't as customizable or selective, the given options of you can do this or you can do that made it pretty simple. I do like my iPhone but I do wish it had the convenience and functionality of Android.

Depends on your taste. Try them both and see which one you prefer. I'm not a fan of Apple products due to their proprietary and closed systems. Iphones are a bit restricted in that sense (can't share music and stuff with others). I don't like the Galaxy phones because they're too big to fit in my pocket. The Galaxy Mini wins for me.

I'm a user of Note 4 awaiting for the Note 6 this year upon renewal of my contract. Note 4 allows you to sign documents on the go using your stylus. While the android ecosystem itself allows you to download youtube videos hassle free without any conversion in format or transferring from a computer. Same as transferring any movies and even include subtitles the same way as you do it in Window. Transferring via bluetooth to any bluetooth enabled device is also not a concern not to mention transferring movies via wifi will only take you around 5 minutes which is quite an old technology already in android ecosystem. iPhones represent class but I prefer features over class, or it's just me.
