Well all wallets are offline right now! Is this the END?
I think it is time to say goodbye to your btc's. I think website will go offline soon, or they ran out of btc because hacker stole it and now they need to get btc's to give the users.

No worries here, their game is over, but they won't steal BTC.

If you check their chat room you find that some server is being restarted. In a few hours it should work normal again.

I saw that I really hope everything comes back online! I personally never had any big issues and liked trading there!

It is a shame to see all the threads about Cryptsy going under, they are/were one of the main exchanges for btc to alts which I have not used for a long time and with all the bad press about them recently I doubt I will go back, be carefull people putting any bitcoin their way for now.

I would like to believe that this is not the beginning of the end. Although in the light of past events prior to this are not surprised by anything. Maybe it's just a temporary problem.

Who knows if the hackers just got the btc or other coins too.

Cryptsy had most of the DASH volume, so my "what next" expectation is that 100s of 1000s of stolen DASH will be dumped on a viable exchange such as Poloniex.

It appears that may already happening, as DASH trading has been nothing but a sea of solid red candles all week long.

i use cryptsy from time to time to get in and out of some tiny alt trades.  payment sometimes gets delayed but all works out in the end.  currently they have a problem with wallets as many users said.  ohh well if it goes down the toilet i dont really care much about the satoshis still stuck with them.. they can keep my dust

Any official info about hacker attack?

How you know that anything was stolen from Cryptsy?

Better be careful with informations like this - it can make panic around..

"very quickly"? Maybe you write on your keyboard too fast? Wink

What the hell? They are going crazy or what? Ban people just because they ask about their money ?!?!

It was probably an inside job, and Cryptsy will cover it up using the normal "Because Ongoing Investigatoin" excuse to keep us in the dark.

I see 1000s of DASH being dumped on Polo, but there is no way to tell for sure it they were stolen from Cryptsy or just masternode investors getting out before all the bids are dumped into and the price goes to <0.0001.

I was the one who withdraw his money from cryptsy 1 week ago. To tell you the truth i was thinking that cryptsy was one of the best exchanges out there, but after see how is going on the last few weeks i decide to do that.

I dont know what will happen with cryptsy, but i can see everyday how people complain about it, thats not a good signs...

This are the first signals something is up, and no it's not something good.

Sad to see them go really, i am with them for over a year now. Back then they were the no 1 altcoins exchange.

The title of this thread could better be "Cryptsy, too bad it is over".

The amount of attention they did, after the mess they make are just too much to cope with. I can't see them surviving this one.

"The hacker" yeah... Any exchange with this kind of volume knows what a cold storage wallet is and how to do daily updates. There is no excuse for getting "hacked" and I personally don't buy it for a second.

I must say that i start to care about this exchange when they start to charge that stupid fee, is something like a joke... at that time i start to think that something is not going well with them.

As i said in another thread, i will not come back to them yet, im reading lot of bad things on his trollbox everydays and here in this forum, i will not risk my money until i feel the calm again.
