What do you guys think?

So you are saying that with my satoshi now I can be a millionaire in year 2046.

Than I will do a lot of faucets to be millionair and not working anymore.

That wouldn't happen that amount of money to be a million.

if you think about ti it was the same at the beginning for bitcoin, bitcoin was worthless pretty much like a single satoshi is worthless, and there were many doing spamming faucets that were given a good amount in the past

now those people are semi-rich if they still have those coins

Semi-rich good with me, I just hoped that I knew that early about bitcoin.

So that I could do a lot of faucets.

Than I could have today maybe 10K of bticoin worth. (Not only faucets of course)
There was a time when faucets paid 10 BTC every hour to its users. That's like $4k every hour from 1 faucet.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It is over market capacity and it will never happen.
I don't even believe 1 btc will be a million.
But I believe it may see like $50.000 dollars price.

But I do speculate if bitcoin will be able to $50k levels, then what would be the hurdle to hit $1M levels. Just in it's own time it will reach $1M price levels also from $50k levels.

Yeah if you say that it can reach 50.000 dollars than I think also that it wil readch 1 million the problem is that will just take a long time.
That won't happen in just one night it will just take time. I am just happy if bitcoin reach 5.000 dollars people like me that is just so much money. If you have bought bitcoin from 500 dollars that is just a huge profit.

Don't be ridiculous dude. You might have, say $10 worth of BTC but millionaire? I think that's impossible and a bit outrageous considering a) a satoshi is the lowest division of a coin(currently anyway) and b) everyone who owns any sum of BTC must have at least 1 satoshi, right?

Unless the USD becomes extremely hyper inflated, then you're basically asking that anybody that uses BTC will be a millionaire by 2046, which I think is impossible.

look at what you are writing. $1000 per satoshi? 100,000,000 units x $1000.... do you know what kind of value that will give to bitcoin?

Eh. Stupid thread. You will never be millionaire with one satoshi, at least not if measured in dollars.

Based on demand and supply principles, all the commodities may reach a stable price one day or other.
Once all the bitcoins will be mined out, I mean all the 21 million bitcoin are brought in use we may see a stable price. At the time bitcoin may value like this one satoshi=$1 or $10 or even $100.
By 2046 we will not complete the mining of all bitcoins. So, less chances for your predictions.

No, the value will continue to rise as long as people will want their piece of the cake, even if all the coins have been mined. There no theorical maximum value.

To OP : in the most optimistic scenario, your satoshi could be worth 1$ (and assuming that 1 BTC is worth 1 000 000$, which has a not so big probabilty to happen).

I think that that amount is a bit low for you to be a millionaire in 30 years. The fee by that time will be huge, wouldn't it?

No, fees will be highly reduced, like did in the past to keep the cost of a transaction below 0,10$.

Even in the most optimistic scenario, where bitcoin arrives to one billion dollars, with one satoshi you only will have ten dollars mate. Fortunately you are in a good time to work hard for the next 30 years, perhaps you will have 31 satoshi then: $310 dollars  Cheesy

Yes, you will be a millionaire.

Because fiat currency is going to be worthless in 2046 and 1 million dollars probably will only be worth like 1 cent in our standards Tongue

Come on. Yet another topic on the same story. Let's switch to Zimbabwean Dollars, recognise that you are a millionaire already with all your BTC holdings you may have now, and let's not waste resources on yet another topic of that kind.
