I haven't checked on Pivx in a while, but it's really nice to see how far the project has come (I originally became interested in this project back when I found out about it on Cryptopia in 2017). Looking over the development updates, it kinda has me interested in staking it

PIVX v5.3.0 RC1 core desktop wallet is now available for download
https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v5.3.0rc1

This is a fully working pre-final release candiate with both mainnet and/or testnet compatibility.
It contains a lot of improvements, changes and good number of consensus modifications. (Over 170 committed PRs!)
So please give this a try and if you see any issues, let us know on #pivx_testnet or #pivx_development or GitHub.

If all is well, expect the final version of this mandatory upgrade later this week!.
So be prepared to update your wallet ASAP once the final release is out!

P.S. if you upgrade to this RC1, then technically, you would be fine even if you forget to upgrade to 5.3 final release. (though best to update eventually)

New PIVX v5.3.1 wallet has been released, and is now available for download.

This minor release solves multiple reported issues, including the stuck network sync, and transaction record display bug in the GUI.
It is highly recommended for everyone to upgrade if you are running the core wallet right now.

Pivx is not really active on Twitter at the moment compared to others but I think this will change if we help publish Pivx updates by Tweeting $PIVX and #PIVX .

I think we should show new investors the low price combining it with the circulation supply,
there are top 50 coins with comparable circulation supply worth more than $20. Pivx currently under a dollar seems a no brainer based on the circulation supply.
(also there are no coins left over anymore as  the max. supply is already in)
