Get a DNET pot together and attract new devs. If you want to rival dash you need a few coders working on things. They have a lot of devs there helping.

Would be nice if the devs would chip in on the issue.

Yes it would.. Smiley Sometimes it takes sometime to work out the issue.  I am not saying this is the final fix, but go with me here as this works for myself and a few others we have tested this on;

on wallet version 1.0.2.0;

in your darknet.conf file located in your masternode; add this line;

externalip=<put your masternode ip address here>

save and do a sudo reboot

then make sure your daemon is restarted and you should be good. If this isn't working for your, let us know, so we can continue to research the issue. please give it an hour or so to see if this works.

Thanks

EDIT: Also make sure you do a 'masternode start-alias <Mastnernode name> <your wallet pass phrase>

Thank you for acknowledging the issue.

But your workaround is not helpful for non-masternode wallets behind a firewall. And some people have their masternodes runnig with dynamic IPs.

Also, the number of active masternodes (masternode count) is fluctuating quite heavily.

I'm hoping you guys can track and fix the issue.

Edit: I have two recently restarted (eg. 10 minutes ago) and synced wallets on the same block height showing different masternode counts (416 vs 426 at block 72338 with 8 peers connected each).

agreed this is not a fix

After applying the "fix", my MNs continue to expire after an hour or two. Everything is fine when they're enabled, everything syncs, all is well, and then randomly an hour or two later they expire and I have to enable them all over again.

Not sure if this is related to the wallet version/syncing issue or something else. Two previous posts have mentioned this problem in the last couple of weeks, and both said that the problem resolved itself. It certainly hasn't resolved itself for me (and it wasn't an issue for me prior to the new version)....

Because DNET is a copy of DASH there is one thing to consider.
DASH has been very successful but one of the reasons it is successful is because of the early supply cut.
Without the reduction in supply, it would not be where it today.
From a value perspective, reducing total PoW coins is definitely beneficial.
This is just an observation.

This is a unique feature and position DNET finds itself in. The upcoming voting is huge.  I'd love to see more discussion on this exact topic.

If your read back through the ANN, this has been put to a vote already and failed. feel free to create a proposal with your supporting reasons and see what happens..

I've now downgraded my controller wallet and most of my MN's back to v1.0.1.0 as new wallet kept stopping to sync.

I'll see how this goes for a day.

OK, Just to keep everyone up to date. We will be releasing an updated wallet tomorrow sometime to step back from some of the changes we made in the existing 1.0.2.0 wallet release. This release should fix the blockchain sticking issue people were experiencing.

Sorry for the headaches we might of caused, we will be pushing fewer updates at one time in the future so hopefully this won't happen again.. Smiley

exactly the same here

@s3v3nh4cks i have donwgraded all of my masternodes to Version 1.01 (also my controller wallet).
my mn's continue to expire after  2 - 6 hours and i have to restart them regulary. it is also not a problem on the hosting side because i now use 2 different hoster for my 35 mn's.

Are all of your wallets in sync? Wallets falling out of sync seems to be the cause of that issue. Current block is 73322.
