It is always best practice to deposit/withdraw just 1 coin as a test to any exchanges to confirm it's working before sending a larger amount. Heck, we don't even have a fully working block explorer yet. So I'm not going to do any large transactions until we can see them on a valid block explorer.

Sure especially during a big transition like this,  my test transactions came through and so did the bulk they were confirmed and in my wallet, but that was after the first pos wallet release if I remember right, the big transactions just didn't make it after the final release for some reason, devs are helping me sort it out, no big deal, it's just weird some transactions made it some didn't. Some I can get to show up after a rescan but in watch only mode because for some reason I don't have a private key for that one address that was only used for withdrawing from bittrex, I think the problem is I generated that address after they opened the Bittrex wallet for withdrawals but then we ended up having to update so I'm going to try and find a wallet.dat backup from that date and see if I can get the key that way then hopefully after a resync I can finally get my masternode situation going again lol, I don't think it's anything with our coin or with Bittrex, just stuck somewhere from all of the updates during the transition, I'll get it sorted and make sure and post how and why in case anyone else has issues.

Has the chain stopped at block 263844? (which was over 3 hours ago)

Edit: Just saw your post PlanC. I'm the same with all my nodes / wallets.
I recommend everyone to stop making any transactions during this time.

Edit2: We are hoping it's just the ramp up of difficulty causing it to stall while waiting for a block with enough weight to generate a good hash for it.

Explorer will be fully functional Sunday morning.

Thanks Presstab. Looks like it's already working? But yeah, the chain isn't moving. Sad

Same here, maybe it's a big jump in diff as jakiman told, but anyway if that can stop the chain so much time is a problem.

Have you tried a real DEX??? But a real DEX like this!!!

I've seen other PoS coins do something like this. (more than 8 hours etc.)
But as more people start to stake, block time becomes more consistent.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully it goes through soon.

My wallet is stuck for several hours. It stopped responding. Now I restarted it but it can't stake because it is loading the chain (9 hours behind). But it can't get the blocks. So can't stake also to help to calculate the block if the difficulty is the problem.

This morning I was sure to be able to post a message here about how it was working great, since my last post it was smooth sailing. Sadly now I am like you blocked at this block:

getblockhash 263844

Do we have the same?

Okay thanks guys. I hope it's like jakiman said and that it will resolve itself later... however I don't have any previous experiences with a POS coin...

I am curious to know what the Devs will say about this... Fingers crossed.

OK folks, we re moving again. We are having an issue with one of the sporks, that is what caused the chain to stall for a bit the other day. When I disabled it the other day I just entered a date to activate as a few days in the future. That time passed last night stalling the chain again. I just changed the date to a couple months from now. We will have the issue resolved by then. Sorry about that.
