Can someone explain me in which timeframe the SeeSaw Alog adjusts the payout for staking and for masternodes?

This seems to be very constant:

Reward from last Block for Miners/Stakers: 2.21 PIV
Reward from last Block for Masternodes: 2.29 PIV

As i read in this forum, it seems that with the same amount of pivx, u get higher reward than a masternode.

I just dont understand that, cuz this clould only happen, if the rewards % for stakers has not been adjusted for long time?

Everyone knows how often the percantage is adjusted? Daily? Weekly?

Thanks

The advantage comes through a higher potential frequency as a staker, not through a higher block reward.

If you get lucky and stake a block every day with 10k coins, you would earn more PIV than a master noder earning a block every 1.5 days (albeit the noder's block reward would be bigger) with the same amount of PIV.

However, while coin age is taken into account in the stake rewards, it's still very random while nodes pay consistently as long as they're up and running.

So really it's your choice:

1. Stake and maybe earn more block rewards

2. Node and earn consistent, reliable PIV payments

Personally... I stake

I ask that question before I buy something.

But yes, it is.

You can get a masternode for 10K and use the other 5K to play around in the market. Its a cheap price to get in now. Good decision  Wink

You would get much better rewards if you staked the 15k instead of having a masternode, if you play to hold it long term and not dump at soon as it goes up 20-30% Smiley

Then i my opinion the SeeSaw Algo is not doing what i should do .... i thoght the Algo watches that masternodes and stakers get nearly same reward ....

Well, I already know that PIVX is a strong top notch coin with a positive community, so I didn't really need advice IF I should buy PIVX. Just wanted some reassuring and happiness after I bought.

So many cool stuff on the roadmap for the (near) future, such as zerocoin implementation and iOS wallet release. Can't wait!

2018 is going to be the year of PIVX. Great developers, strong community and they are working hard to deliver their promises.
I have high hopes for PIVX  long term.

Pivix masternode is probably one of the most expensive coins to hold, now there comes new masternode coin project, competition begins. could be interesting.

Seems like PIVX has been bouncing around $1-$2.50 for about a year now. When are we gonna see a $5 pivx?

one big advantage of Pivix  compared with other masternode coin is that the community, such a good and passionate community to support the development of the project.

I wish we lived in your timeline!

Aug 18, 2016: PIVX (then called DarkNet) was ~0.004 USD per PIV.

Masternode - i did not get any reward after the mandatory update.

Now 3 days are gone, MN Status enabled, active 3 days

Is that normal??? Thought it takes max. 2 days, after restarting a node ....
