these will be a standard Masternode, not a Shared node. you will require 10k DNET, and need to configure your Controller wallet (The one that holds the coins) following the instructions on page 8 of this ANN.

That would depend on how many Masternodes exist, as there are 1440 rewards per day.

If someone were to host (50) Masternodes, it would cost $75 a month (.2 btc) with MP Hosting, .5 Bitcoin seems a bit steep. Good Luck..

Well, yes if you only use the service to host the DNET nodes it would be very expensive, hovever we think that those who own DNET nodes most likely also have other masternodes and maybe even POS wallets they could host at no extra cost.

As long as you have followed the instructions on the first page under masternodes, you should of received at least a few payments. go over the instructions thoroughly, then if you are 100% sure you have followed them correctly, PM me and I will help you get everything going

Do I need both a controller node and a master node setup for it to work?
Also my masternode won't start unless I use the below line also.

OK, to start with, you can not use duplicate public IP's, internal network IP's or your loopback address's as your MN address's. you need to open port 51472 in your router, and then go to google and search "Whats my IP"

don't port forward, just open the port in your firewall..

then use that IP address.

secondly, if you are only going to have one Masternode, then you can do everything within your darknet.conf file. if you will have more than one Masternode, you will need to use the darknet.conf file on the remote masternodes, and use the masternode.conf file on the local wallet (Your Controller wallet which holds the actual coins)
