hopefully dev keeps PoS coins low, 64mil is plenty in PoW given its duration. Rest should just be inflation to keep things moving.

Agreed. A moderate POS rate should be instilled. Is it really necessary to have 5 different POS phases? What benefit can that have? Please explain this.

Loving this coin so far though I do have to say. Nice!

I noticed someone renting hashpower to mine DNET, paying in BTC.

May I suggest to invest the same amount of BTC in buying DNET directly from the exchanges? You'll get a slightly higher amount of coins and you would help driving BTC volumes up.

Indeed. I agree.

Just some math applied to "renting" profits compared to "buying"  Smiley

It is with great pleasure to announce that SaluS project has added Darknet [DNET] coin to its portfolio for long term staking and support of DNET project.

SaluS has added 200,000+ DNET to its portfolio

We have been following DarkNet closely ever since launch and given the recent milestone that was reached by DNET team we feel that this addition will be beneficial for both SaluS and DNET project.

Good luck with this project and please join DNET to Slack Shared Network (SSN) for wider community visibility and support.

Hi guys
well we are  starting to get a few orders  now for the Masternodes witch is cool thanks for that
i have now added this to the email that  our system sends out

Quote
Dear {$client_name},

PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL IN FULL AND PRINT IT FOR YOUR RECORDS

Thank you for your order from us!

Your Darnet Masternode has now been setup and this email contains all the information you will need in order to begin using your account.

New Account Information

Package: {$service_product_name}
First Payment Amount: {$service_first_payment_amount}
Recurring Amount: {$service_recurring_amount}
Billing Cycle: {$service_billing_cycle}
Next Due Date: {$service_next_due_date}

Node Login Details

Username: root
Password: {$service_password}
IPs: {php}$serv=$this->_tpl_vars["service_id"];$query=mysql_query("SELECT vmtype,vmid,vmip FROM tblhosting WHERE id=".$serv);$info=mysql_fetch_array($query);echo $info["vmip"];{/php}

Manage Server: {$whmcs_url}/clientarea.php?action=productdetails&id={$service_id}}

You must setup your masternode now.

OK, so you want to start a DarkNet masternode, here's how to do it. Note, these instuctions are intended for
those running the Qt DarkNet wallet. If you are using darknetd the same steps apply, but, whenever a command is
to be entered in the console you would enter the command on the command line preceded by "./darnet-cli",
for example, to generate the masternode private key you would enter "./darknet-cli masternode genkey".
This should go without saying, but don't enter the quotation marks when entering commands.

Step 1: First, open the console of your wallet and create an address for your masternode, do this by entering
"getaccountaddress MN". You can replace "MN" with whatever you would like to name your masternode.

Step 2: Send 10000DNET to the address you just created. It must be exactly 10000, in one transaction.

Step 3: Execute "masternode genkey" in your wallet's console.

Step 4: Open the darknet.conf folder in the data directory for your wallet, edit it like so:

rpcuser=long random username
rpcpassword=longer random password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=256
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Replace the Xs with the key generated when you ran "masternode genkey" in step 3.

Step 5: Save the darknet.conf file, close, and restart your wallet.

Step 6: In the console of your wallet enter "masternode start", assuming everything went well you should see a
message letting you know your masternode has been started successfully.

Thank you for choosing us.

{$signature}

If you think i sound add any more information please let me know

thanks
Paul

Are there step by step instructions for what needs to be done on the sever side?

I've followed the multiple masternode setup guide in the OP but am not a linux user.  Any help would be appreciated.   Smiley

If you believe altcoin prices in general will skyrocket in some future or want to chase pump&dumps for specific ones, then renting is an option, otherwise it's not a wise investment.

So I assume you're on windows, and you rented a vps. Install Winscp on windows, it will make backup things easier. Where are you stuck at btw? Did you connect to your vps? Is darknetd running?
