Yeah, I actually wish DNET was PoW only coin with a lengthy lower inflation. It would make it so much easier....

But like all PoW to PoS coins, PoW does end soon enough. It's just that people here are all early adoptors.
Once it goes to PoS, I'm sure there will be people that regret not knowing about it during the PoW stage.

To beat the inflation during this accelerated PoW stage, the only way is to gain more buyers to offset inflation and increase market cap at same time.
That's what some other coins are REALY good at. So they start off with tons of trade volume & market cap. Would be nice if DNET could do the same.

A few people tried to warn about this and what was going to happen. Usually coins have a window of opportunity a couple of months after they launch. If this window of opportunity is not used as is the case with DNET currently, it's much more likely that the coin will go down the drain. One year from now nobody will care what happened to the supply, people will just look back and view the coin as a failure.

All this conjecture, but I have yet to see a valid proposal from anyone in regards to lowering the PoW Rewards. Yes it has been proposed before, and it was down voted by the Consensus of the Masternode owners. You can't change anything by just complaining.

Create a proposal with your supporting reasons and a valid alternative. and it will be voted on by the masternodes owners.

regardless if anything changes right now, the coin will be fine in a year from now as it will still have active Dev's and It will still have active development. the coin supply is not what "Values" a coin, and not what has made other coins useless and failures. It is that lack of services and uses for the coin. If you really want to make a difference, then create a service for Darknet, create a place to use the coin. Then submit for funding support by requesting those funds in a proposal....

We have many things in the works right now, but at this time there are only two of use and nothing happens over night. If you have dev skills, PM me, as there is always something that needs to be done and our list of plans is long..

This is a community coin, if the decision to reduce the PoW rewards is voted in, it will happen. But a proposal needs to be created and vote on.

I think you misunderstood what I said. no where did I say I don't care about the price. but you seem to be focused on the make money quick, "lets get rich quick" and that was never the objective with this coin. it has been stated many times, that is not our focus. We want the value of the coin to be a valid one. not falsely inflated. Miners always dump.. "Always" very few will ever hold their coins. so I am not surprised by the fact that the price has dropped. I am not too concerned by this. it will recover. personally, I will hold my coins, and I wont experience a loss as I wont be selling. We are invested in this coin for the long run, and so we are not too concerned by the rise and fall right now as we are still working on the development of the coin.. Rome wasn't built in a day my friend... patience.

For eg: 500,000 DNET for anonymous transactions.
What if you only raised 100,000 for example.

A minimum of 10% of the masternodes is required to vote yes to get a proposal qualified to be approved, then at that point it is what ever has the most votes (Yes/No)
