*** update addendum ***

due to excessive CPU consumption I am temporarily disabling master nodes, following creates unnecessary CPU cycles.. saving machinery for the time being and turning them off till the next update  (my intent is to run hardware for a very long time.. definitely will re-enable them to resolve below and cut CPU there heat intake , which wears the hardware if prolonged ...)

premature forcing off master nodes on the wrong fork could weaken the network.. saying that I have all nodes checking against correct fork

getblockhash 259880 returns f6bf9eae07bbba776309c374ef73b83bf633853b7026ceeff17e20ccd0774098 for all

UI latest block is @ 260391 , staking is still not active

all master nodes are engaged and collecting their share, left around 10K in the UI wallet for POS test and compare

*** update complete ***

network is already not secure with all these different forks. force them all off that are not on the right chain and maybe we can get going somewhere.

on the second thought.. you might be right.. see my post above.. I can not wear hardware down for too long... +1 on de-activating Mn on the wrong fork , gotta go now but revisit us this thread later tonight and proceed accordingly

All on the wrong one. Would just ignore it till they fix it with new exe that this time will hopefully work. They need enable the masternode lock as well to stop us connecting to all the ones not updated.

Thanks!  Will just note I compiled from the latest commit: 9c46858, deleted everything except conf files, and restored a blockchain from before 70200 version masternodes and used the recommended peers from an earlier post.

If we have an official or authoritative chain, it would be nice if someone could post hashes of block ending in 00 and perhaps blocks where people are getting stuck.

You probably have a backups folder in DarkNet with a few wallet files which you can use.

Not your keys, not your coins!

How do we know which is the good chain?
Is there a solid reference of a good chain to compare with all the time?

My masternodes are stuck on various blocks while my controller wallet has a much higher block number.

But the MN info site has an even higher number! I'm getting really confused. Sad

My wallet is staking but it's probably on the wrong chain so useless.
My masternodes are all running but who knows if it's good or not.
So yeah, it would be nice if the devs could tell us what's what. Sad
