My wallet is unlocked, but it says "Staking is not active". What would cause this?

If any of the following conditions are met, then the wallet will not activate staking:
Code:
vNodes.empty() || IsInitialBlockDownload() || pwallet->IsLocked() ||  !fMintableCoins || nReserveBalance >= pwallet->GetBalance() || !masternodeSync.IsSynced()

!masternodeSync.IsSynced means that if a masternode is activated there is no staking on all the addresses of the node?

This is a wonderful work in progress.... Smiley There is another commit for the self builders out there, expect more until we get this work as it should. I had Bittrex Turn off their wallet again. So we can address the issues. Please Hang in there.. Smiley

Please clarify, this is what I see at https://github.com/Darknet-Crypto/Darknet/tree/master

Latest commit db34f50  10 hours ago

Or is there something else coming...

Just saw this... Latest commit 9c46858  2 minutes ago ... so github changes do not show up instantly...

I haven't had much luck with this, I can't admit to having tried everything but I am eager to be among the first to get my masternodes up and running.

Happy to see more fixes ...

259200 ... until one of the new peers is willing to connect...

premature forcing off master nodes on the wrong fork could weaken the network.. saying that I have all nodes checking against correct fork

getblockhash 259880 returns f6bf9eae07bbba776309c374ef73b83bf633853b7026ceeff17e20ccd0774098 for all

UI latest block is @ 260391 , staking is still not active

all master nodes are engaged and collecting their share, left around 10K in the UI wallet for POS test and compare

network is already not secure with all these different forks. force them all off that are not on the right chain and maybe we can get going somewhere.

*** update addendum ***

due to excessive CPU consumption I am temporarily disabling master nodes, following creates unnecessary CPU cycles.. saving machinery for the time being and turning them off till the next update  (my intent is to run hardware for a very long time.. definitely will re-enable them to resolve below and cut CPU there heat intake , which wears the hardware if prolonged ...)

on the second thought.. you might be right.. see my post above.. I can not wear hardware down for too long... +1 on de-activating Mn on the wrong fork , gotta go now but revisit us this thread later tonight and proceed accordingly

All on the wrong one. Would just ignore it till they fix it with new exe that this time will hopefully work. They need enable the masternode lock as well to stop us connecting to all the ones not updated.

Thanks!  Will just note I compiled from the latest commit: 9c46858, deleted everything except conf files, and restored a blockchain from before 70200 version masternodes and used the recommended peers from an earlier post.

If we have an official or authoritative chain, it would be nice if someone could post hashes of block ending in 00 and perhaps blocks where people are getting stuck.

i made something wrong...my wallet.dat is corrupted same in the backup folder...cant salvagewallet and other commands...nothing working...coins gone i give up...

You probably have a backups folder in DarkNet with a few wallet files which you can use.

Avoid centralized, closed source, custodial crypto wallets and exchanges at all costs!
