I went to update my MP-Hosting MN earlier but the wget was getting a 404, then my second attempt blew up Putty half way through, 3rd attempt did DL but I had an error running "sh ./darknet-update.sh"
because "darknetd" and "darknet-cli" must have jumped ship or were to busy playing Pokemon GO.  That was easily fixed with a "touch darknetd darknet-cli".  Ran the script again and it worked.  Then I deleted all but (updated nodes) darknet.conf, masternode.conf and wallet.dat in the desktop wallet DarkNet folder, added the "chainstate" and "blocks" folders from the download, ran "masternode start" after unlocking the wallet and hay presto it started the node.

Hey everyone,

Here is how to make sure you are on the right chain. Please make sure you have the latest source.

1. Delete everything in your data folder except for:
     darknet.conf
     wallet.dat
     masternode.conf

2. Get the latest chain from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k6dax584softm3t/blocks.zip?dl=0

3. Place the chain in your darknet data folder, the zip contains 2 folders.

4. In darknet.conf, have only one node defined.
     connect=coin-server.com

5. Start your wallet and allow it to sync

6. After you have completed the sync, you can add your other nodes back to the darknet.conf file.

Thanks

That seemed to work. But after the wallet updated and resync'd, I entered the "masternode start-missing" command, and the wallet keeps freezing up on me.

All my active  masternodes are on the same chain.

Backup up ones wallet (to USB or another computer) is probably a good idea...

Also, some of my masternode transactions had staked and therefore could not be found... so had to make new ones...

great! all the stakes are mine Smiley.

More seriously what is going wrong with the forks? Would it possible for other players to deliberately try to sabotage DNET? This is coin is so promising that I wouldn't rule out this possibility. But in all events we need a more robust code able to keep us all on one constant chain and able to pass the dreaded block 260832 from peers syncing... and not from the block file.

May the code be with you dear Devs Cool and our patience be awesomely rewarded Cheesy.

Hey everyone,

Here is how to make sure you are on the right chain. Please make sure you have the latest source.

1. Delete everything in your data folder except for:
     darknet.conf
     wallet.dat
     masternode.conf

2. Get the latest chain from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k6dax584softm3t/blocks.zip?dl=0

3. Place the chain in your darknet data folder, the zip contains 2 folders.

4. In darknet.conf, have only one node defined.
     connect=coin-server.com

Now many masternodes do you have?
