The output you are showing is actually the output of the UNIX "yes" command (it outputs endless Ys).

The output you are showing is actually the output of the UNIX "yes" command (it outputs endless Ys).

I logged in using a Linux box.  I removed everything but darknet.conf, masternode.conf and wallet.dat from .darknet
Re ran ./darknetd -rescan and now it seems to be running, still in the process list.

Edit: 
re-scan done on node, darknetd restarted and has been stable for 6 mins.

Desktop wallet got stuck at 360, crashed and then game back on 366 and is stuck on that.

I have not had a crash in a while and have jumped to 259369 which is stuck, darknetd has been running for 25 mins on the node but I am getting a code 28 "loading wallet" error when running ./darknet-cli getinfo and ./darknet-cli getblockhash 259354

Devs are currently trying to work out what's going on. More updates from them once it's figured out.
Only difference between v2.1.0.0 that was released 2 days ago and v2.1.1.0 was the checkpoint block & stake kickoff time.
It certainly wasn't crashing for the last 2 days with v2.1.0.0 so it's strange why it is crashing now. Hopefully an easy fix!

In saying all of this, it seems the fork issue isn't happening while the wallet is up and running so far?
But yeah, I can't get my Windows wallet running long enough to really get a feel of it working...

new version is needed, due to not everyone updating. old peers be holding everything up and crashing wallets. so long story short, update your nodes i guess. But first wait for new version again.

Ok, so we are still seeing some issues with our Mystery Guy, and as such we are pushing a protocol bump to lock him out. There will be no roll back this time, I will be pushing the new wallets shortly. I apologize for the head aches... This effects us all, and we are as worn out over the issues this past week as all of you. As soon as the wallets are out, you can stake and get your masternodes rolling.

We have to update all wallets to v2.1.2.0 unfortunately.

well my controller wallet is at 259201 and not moving forward (2 active connections) ....all my
masternodes are crashing after the update to 2.1.2.0 .....

None of my masternodes has crashed yet since 2.1.2.0. I resynced all of themfrom scratch.
I'm now resyncing my controller wallet just to ensure I have a clean start again. We'll see.
