Im also on the new wallet and have yet to receive a stake.
Normally I get a stake every 4-6 hours. But nothing for almost 12 now.

Yes. This is not normal. Even increased difficulty should not mean a complete shutout for stakers. It's been 16 hours for me without anything.

Ok, let me do some digging, What OS are u using?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

ok, looking into the issue, for the time being, this is not a required update, so use the old binaries from the github releases area until I get this issue worked out please.

Looks like there could be an issue with staking on the latest v2.1.3.1 wallet.
Fortunately, this is a non-mandatory update.

So for those who stake, please keep using the "proven stable" v2.1.3.0 wallet.

Unfortunately, although this version use to work, I am still getting zero payouts with it.

Is somebody gaming the system? This bug is costing me btc.

After 21 hours of no staking, I am getting payouts again on the old version. I'm not even going to try and understand it. Just glad it resolved itself.

Hmm. So was there actually an issue with staking on the new v2.1.3.1 wallet?
Maybe it was just staking difficulty spike potentially causing initial slow payout?

I've just transferred some DNET to a test v2.1.3.1 wallet and enabled staking.
I'll report back after a day or so to see if I get any stake payments. Cool

this would be great as new features are being coded into the codebase, nice regressive test

as a vote of confidence I sold dash (there was no way I would scramble 10 grand to get a single node, while same exact technology + more is present here) and bought dnet, upped master node count to total of 115 all have been activated

to hold dash below 1000 required just does not make sense (in my opinion) please exercise your own judgement of course as per usual , this is my own strategy and thinking

As I'm sure you have heard Darknet is looking to re-brand the project so as to not have a name which brings a negative connotation to peoples minds. A community member paid from his own pocket a professional branding company to help come up with some ideas for new project names. I think everyone should note that the issue here is getting away from Darknet brand and into something that does not bring unwanted attention toward the project. I don't think the project will ever sacrifice privacy for transparency (as CA says about Dash) but a re-brand is necessary not only for reasons mentioned above, but also because the Darknet name is confusing. When I first heard it I didn't even know it was a crypto and I've seen a few others say this as well.

So, with that said we would like to invite all the community members to participate in a vote for a new name. If you would like to participate please join us on slack https://darknetcrypto.herokuapp.com/ and send @bill a private message. Include in the message an email address which you will be submitting your vote from. That is all I will need. When the vote is ready we will send out an email with a link to cast your vote. You will have 24 hours (maybe more) to cast your vote.

My postulation is that new wallets somehow reset the maturity of your coins to zero thus causing a big window of time that payouts cease. Not even sure if that's technically possible but that what it seems to do.

I believe when he created that last update, (which should be fixed on the next update) you need to install them like this (there was a typo i believe)

sudo apt-get install darknetd-cli
sudo apt-get install darknetd-tx

I haven't received a single staking payment for past 32+ hours.
So I guess it really isn't working. Stick to v2.1.3.0 if you stake. Cool

I have stayed on the newest wallet to be sure. I also have no stakes for more than 2 days.
So yeah some bugs.

Sure it will be sorted soon enough

I did say stay on v2.1.3.0 until we get it sorted. shouldn't be much longer , but no reason to waste the stakes.. Smiley

if you are referring to the qt wallet, that was installed via apt, then just type; darknet-qt at the terminal should get you going
