I just invested $1,000 into PIVX and I'm going to hold long term.

If you can get PIVX into other big exchanges (Bittrex is really uncomfortable IMO), the price/volume will skyrocket.

I like this coin, but what I've been seeing lately is too much manipulation by bots and very small buy orders that jump around a bit too much.

I would like to see a stable price increase, not this jump from 0.02 to 0.03 and back down again with very little BTC needed.

 Hoping this coin survives the P&D's that have noticed it but then I could be wrong also.

upside is large, plus people simply like this coin (like is hard to define and measure but you know what I mean) I see only the upside , self ? also long term here and some other places, it is not like even 10 grand can buy you even half decent bicycle these days..

Can you offer any hints as to what the details of the marketing campaign will entail?

I wish I knew all the details. Not because they are secret (they are all open!) but because there are so many parallel discussions that I just can't keep up.

But yeah, we have a new member @sarah who will do a lot of social media for us. (now has access to our official Twitter also)
So hopefully you'll see a lot more of social marketing. Also, a number of new websites are currently in the works or near completion. At least 5 right now!
As well as all this, we have TONS of new community members who joined Slack recently and the number of discussions happening are mind boggling.

So yeah, if you haven't joined Slack, I really recommend that you do as 99% of the talks are happening there.
Also, we are working to get a PIVX Slack Tip Bot integrated there (possibly this weekend) so give/get tips also!

It is a very tough one and many have many different opinions so it'll take time but we'll get there.

Devs are working hard. New commits are happening frequently and more are brewing in the background. (e.g. zerocoin protocol implementation)

So yeah we are growing fast. But some want it faster still. Understandable. I do too. lol.
I just know that we will get there if we all contribute a little. ($1+ by end of this year)

Umhh, this is a risky coin from a tech point of view, trying always to get new highs, and community is prepared to hard times like the multiple update adventure from the transition to POS 2.0. I have confidence in a moment like that most exchanges are going to freeze wallets to avoid lost transactions and so, and for any reason I don't have the same confidence in CCex (and I have a trading account there).

We have Trex, Yolo, Nova, Cryptopia. I would love to see Polo and some chinese exchange there (I dunno if there are any) but I really prefer not being in CCex.

Just my thoughts.

the only chinese alt coin exchange i know is bter.com.
made some trades there in 2014 but i was not happy with interface, security and so on.
afaik in 2015 ~7k BTC got stolen from their cold wallet, but the exchange is still around.

my confidence in ccex is also pretty low...

Interesting coin and project. I just checked technical characteristics and it seems very promising, altough the competition between anonymous coins are harsh. Nevertheless, I wish good luck to the developers and investors. I will pick up some on Bittrex.

We're not worried, one thing we have over other anon coins is a great vision of what a true digital cash should be, that includes governance and fully intact fungibility! Glad to have you on board.
