Dash is going to the moon right now. I believe that PIVX should be at least 10% of Dash's marketcap since we are the closest facsimile to it. That means we should be at a 40 million marketcap; and we're currently sitting at 2.5M? Bring on POLO!
We need to strike while the iron is hot!
Also the zcryptos have got a good behaviour lately. Seems as BOCh increases its capital control people is more focused on anonymity. So PIVX road map looking for total and multiple layered anonymity could work great. |

I was just talking today with someone who has less knowledge of crypto, "what do you mean everyone can see how much bitcoin i have?here's 100$, you go and get me a coin with privacy"  |

I've noticed that backups often don't work either. I have to resync from scratch.
I'm resyncing on 3 different rigs. It's been about 12 hours and they still have a ways to go. (Windows 7 and 10).
Ive tried to sync it up but couldnt get it to work. My impression is that client will never stop syncing, this makes me losing my temper and throwing a punch at my display. I feel like like I will end up crashing everything around me. |

I think it would be a good idea for people to post bug reports over at forum.pivx.org so we can catalogue them and get them fixed in an orderly manner. |

When making a good blockchain backup (blocks & chainstate), you need to cleanly exit the wallet first.
So in Windows, File - Exit or in linux via pivx-cli stop etc. If not, the blockchain may not be consistent.

so in the .pivx file i see a file called backups can i use these wallet.dat files to restore the wallet closest to the last save, or are these just wallet.dat files and nothing else
These are just wallet.dat file. They hold your private keys. It's not a blockchain backup. |

We currently have over 200 members now in Slack and many are quite active. We also have a working PIVX Tip Bot / Slack Wallet which is quite cool btw. I've never used discord myself so tell me why it is better? Will more use it? I'm fine if that is the case. (But I won't be active there as it's blocked at my work network where I spend most of my online time) |

Here's some interesting fact about our upcoming PoS Phase for those that may not have known.
We are currently in a declining PoS Phase since we switched from PoW to PoS back in Aug 2017.
1. Current daily inflation is 18 x 1440 = 25920 PIV. This is shared amonst masternode and stake node owners.
2. In approx 2 weeks time, this will drop by 25% to 13.5 x 1440 = 19440 PIV per day of inflation.
3. We will then drop another 33% in mid-April. So 9 x 1440 = 12960 PIV per day of inflation.
4. Lastly, we will drop a whopping 50% in mid-May to a daily inflation of 7200 PIV.
Note: Values in 1,2,3 have the 10% of the block excluded as budgeting system is currently disabled. Value in 4 is inclusive.
So by mid-May, we will have 4 times less daily inflation than now. That's quite a difference.
Meaning each new minted or MN payment PIVs are going to become 4x more rarer than now!

My wallet is running 24/7 but I'm having too many rejected mints.
In 10 possible mints I only have 2 completed and 8 rejected.
Any tip?

That is expected. All it matters is how many actually get confirmed relative to how much you are staking. Currently, it seems to be about 1~2 minted payment per day per 10K of PIV staked. Is that what you get? |

You would have faired far better by looking at the OP of this thread. There are some guides in pivx.wiki & pivxmasternode.org. Technically it is very similar if not identical to DASH but just different wallet name currently.
