PIVX wallet has one problem: if it is closed not correctly, database corrupts. Was it fixed in new wallet version?

Yes, this was addressed / improved in v2.2.1. (link below)
https://forum.pivx.org/t/pivx-wallet-2-2-1-release/

Code: https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/commit/bce67cb9f5187cd3bc37e4ca87f19b9dcc26774f

I've even had first hand experience today accidently shutting down my Windows PC that was running 2 separate PIVX wallets.
Both wallets came up just fine with v2.2.1 whereas it would not have with any other previous version.

PIVX is getting better and better!

i agree ive been buying this dips and loughing at the paniced noobs who are selling Cheesy

Yep, every time it's the same situations with the panicked noobs dumping the coins and of course some whales to bring down the price. You buy the dips and hold till the price uptrend.I always profit  Grin Grin Grin

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Good to price is moving back to get the previous floor before it got dumped bought some at very low price as compare with today. I  hope it will keep rising again and now all issues will get resolved.
observing the flow its been a pumped then dumped scenario those who understand the movement really earn huge but those who doesn't and
weak holders will be eaten alive PIVX still showing green and moving upwards better to keep tracking and place a buy entry in a much better
value.

How can one run 2 wallets on same pc?

Just create another user account and install it there?

Thanks

Price is recovering after quick disaster but thanks to all weak hands who dump and gave the opportunity to new people to buy at low price. Now it has more high chance to get new all time high. Pivx is more better than it's competitor.

It's crazy how some noobs just listen to one source on certain matters when it comes to this coin. I didn't freak out at all when i seen the price dip. I seen some people saying this is a scam coin, but i think those are just people/devs trying to talk down a good up and coming coin. Bittrex has been crazy the last couple months with pump n dumps, but i hold onto coins i know have a great future ahead of it.

I'm staking pivx and blackcoin on the same PC, had a few crashes this week (power outage/overclocking) and every time the pivx database corrupts, with the new wallet at least it's rebuilding the index but it takes a very long time. I'm not a coder but staking is taken from blackcoin, how comes that blockchain never corrupts and pivx does every time ? Can something be done to have a periodic "backup" so it doesn't need to reindex from the first block every time ?

Try using the newest version of the wallet v2.2.1 https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v2.2.1

That's what I said, with the new wallet at least it's rebuilding the index but still it corrupts at a crash and rebuilds from block #1

looks like coming altcoin correction.
not only PIVX, but ALL coins going to crash

and in bittrex, there is no buy support, just BOT.

p.s. yes, i want to buy this coin, but not at this price.. i think fair enough to see below 10k sat

I am agree with your price prediction on PIVX, but I don't agree with "ALL coins going to crash". Poloniex coins will be good.

No. With Windows, I use -datadir option in the PIVX shortcut and specify a data directory for each wallet.
Then in each pivx.conf, I use different port numbers for each wallet. e.g. port=51472 & port=51473

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory
