I don't think there is need to rush release of new wallet, even if released now it won't affect the price that much because BTC is raging and is dominating the space

Good coin, but not quite in Navcoin's league yet.

Hopefully wallet functions well. I am recommending a buy for sure with the recent price dip.  Cheesy

Solid Altcoin with bright futur like NAVcoin
Keep going the good job dev team..
Cheers..

Navcoin has som interesting anon features, like dapp's, but Pivx has Zercoin (or will), Nav is not even close in this regard.
Might want to research before you post false hoods.

My unofficial update...
- PIVX PoS network is starting to stabilize with the latest release candidate RC2 wallet. (on github)
- Final stable wallet will be released once ready. Then exchange wallets will go online. ETA soon.

Just FYI:
Since 3.0.0, there are 2 new folders in the data folder. Sporks & Zerocoin.
Make sure to keep a backup of these also when making your own snapshot.
It is for deterministic blockchain databasing and are not private info.
Fresh sync without them can cause going off onto forks much easier.

Also, due to how zerocoin works. Whenever you mint zPIV, the secret key is stored on your wallet.dat at that time.
As it is not associated with any of your existing addresses, your previous wallet.dat backups won't know about it.
So keep a backup of your latest wallet.dat whenever you mint zPIV. (PIVX wallet will auto-backup each time also)

@revilo
Zerocoin protocol has been implemented and is already active. (zPIV)
But we recently had a network issue which delayed its proper launch.

Hello. I need some help. I tried to join slack but it said the invite limit is reached.

I transferred 1 PIVX to DEBW5EK5s1ZZX81k6Ju9dTr9ct5v6eWiNG  as a test. It turned up

The I transferred 10000 to the same address. My wallet wont sync, and I can't see the transaction.

The transaction ID is cd786d944dc8a6e615efa4e15f366c4205073fa4c01a8855b8eecf6994448fce

How can I check the transaction?

Can I send PIVX to the same address twice?

I now see it says this is not recommended.   Cry  Cry

I wanted to get my coins off Bittrex and so i just sent them to the same address as before.   Cry

Just keep a backup of both of the wallets (sending / receiveing) and wait for the official release of the client.
Coins don't disappear when sent, so they will appear in one of the 2 wallets.

The new client should appear here as soon as it is released: https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases

I see your full amount without issues here:
http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/PIVX/address.php?address=DEBW5EK5s1ZZX81k6Ju9dTr9ct5v6eWiNG

So yeah, your coins are NOT lost. Smiley

As per above, please download 3.0.4 RC2 wallet. (it's not final but is working fine atm)
https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v3.0.4RC2

After updating, you may need to either try reindex (from wallet repair), or resync from scratch.
Just make sure to NOT delete your wallet.dat and always make a backup copy elsewhere also.

Well, first of all: make a backup of your PIVX data folder.
Then, wait for the official release of the PIVX client.

For now, after you made a backup, just wait, coins on a blockchain don't go anywhere.

There's no quick fix, unless you want to fiddle with RC / beta releases that are no final releases and could screw things up.

PIVX will be fine, your PIV will be fine. Mine will be too.

The price of PIVX will tank hard once the issue is fixed, send your coins to Bittrex immediately when it is possible and dump them before it is too late.

Nice fud attempt.
I rate it a 6/10.

Price is pretty much unaffected, compared to other coins and looking at the rise of Bitcoin.

PIVX is still the only PoS coin with Zerocoin.

You can currently stake, run masternodes etc using the latest release candidate wallet which is RC2.
Wallet is available on github for those inclined and knows what to do. Final version to come later.
https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v3.0.4RC2

You will most likely need to perform a full resync of the blockchain to get back on the right chain.
e.g. stop wallet, upgrade, delete (blocks, chainstate, zerocoin, sporks, peers.dat), then restart the wallet for full resync.
If you just update our wallet but do not full resync, your wallet could cause the network to split again.

Then make sure you are on the right chain by matching your block/hash with presstab block explorer.
Presstab explorer link = http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/PIVX/index.php
Can follow this KB = https://pivx.freshdesk.com/solution/articles/30000004667

Network Update:
PIVX network is getting stronger each day now with healthy network difficulty.
Hopefully, we'll see a final wallet release within days.
