i was using pivx 3.0.0.

i am staking , but 20% are in zPIV.

does zPIV also staking or are they "dead coins"?

is it ok my PIVX only shows 80% at first line?   PIV

zPIV coins are not stackable right now, but it's a possible feature in future.
By defaut the wallet convert about 10% of your PIVX into zPIV in order to help the network.
If you got 20% of your coins in zPIV maybe your old version wallet was affected with the bug when the zPiv was lunched, now with that bug corrected you can still move 10% back to PIVX address.

I updated my wallet, resynced and now I'm on the right chain. Converted zPivs to Pivs without problems and disabled that function in conf file.
I've unlocked my wallet for staking but the icon stays grey and says "staking is no active" /I unlocked it more than 24hrs ago/ 

Any ideas where is the problem?

May be you are trying to send more than 7 denominations at once? Try send the coins in few separate transactions, and then, when they are all normal PIVs, send the 10k transaction to the MN address.

Staking problem resolved! Simply remove the server=1 line in conf file.

So yes conservatively $17.50 each which would give it a $1,000,000,000 market cap.

From that point of view you might be right but there could also be other factors which the market values differently it seems. With market caps of those sizes I doubt the market is completely off. Do you think you analysis is sufficient? To be honest I don't know .PIVX is absolutely great no doubt about that.

My analysis is just basic logic. PIVX is fundamentally better that Dash and Monero. That is not onion. That is a technological fact. My experience is that the market is sometime slow to validate because people have to discard out their old beliefs that the other coins are superior. As the idea finally settles in to the mind of the market participants, the price will rise. Slowly at first then it will explode.   I don't see any reason why PIVX can not surpass Dash and then some in the very near term. Do you?

It seems to be the natural progression of things to me.
