You can't lose coins if you have backups - which is written everywhere.

True, you don't lose coins on a blockchain unless you are hacked or unless you didn't backup.

And when a coin is moving forward in development, like PIVX, you need to backup more often.
The wallet has a "auto backup" function built in nowadays, so if you keep those backups in a safe place, your coins won't go anywhere unless you want them to.

Staking is great by the way, my 10,000 PIV now give me a free daily $15.31 income on average and while price is rising, this goes up

he is staking on wrong chain, those stake reward on wrong chain is now orphaned.

it is simple, by staking you get a reward for securing the network proportional to your investment and if you stake 24/7 it will easily beat the new supply !!!

The idea is to have a pivx price pool that will be rewarded to the best 4 price estimates at the end of 2017 to be precise at 23:59:59 CT (US central time) from Bittrex in BTC, ie the last trade of the year.

i hold 42000 pivx and wallet not working since weeks... i will hold them, but something went wrong with sporks.
After block 867...the chain sys false. i have reindex and zap wallet 1 and 2 but no Chance to get on the right chain... also with the daily snapshot

After zPiv I (and everyone else) also had a lot of wallet issues up until the most recent release, so make sure you have that one.  You're saying you had coins go missing?  Did you look up your address to see if they're still there and just not showing up in your wallet?

I'll admit, I have a little more PIVX than you, but not much and I'm a tad skeptical about your story... over $200k in PIVX and you're not on top of your wallet?

I had a power failure and after that my pivx blockchain was corrupted.
I did downloaded the daily snapshot and overwrote my directorys with the snapshot.
10 min later everthing was working well 

Just wanted to tell my good story after all the bad ones I readed.

The amount of reach PIVX is setting up to have in 2018 is amazing.

I have a twitter wager going... I said around $80 by end of next year.  Another is saying $100+.  11 PIV is on the line.  Either way - whoever wins, we all win.
