As new coins are created from staking and masternodes the coin supply increases, as transactions are made the transaction fees are burned/destroyed reducing the supply.  The supply is “dynamic”

as you can see in the link in my sig there is the masternode stats where you can among other check the actual (last block currency supply).

One key aspect about pivx coin distribution is that since the end of pow it's only the stakers (mn or plain staking) that creates new blocks, meaning that they can chose to widen the circulation (or let others accumulate more). So this is the critical difference that is hard to get with PIVX, is that this system allows for easier transfer of ownership, because as soon as a pivx (newly minted or old) is sold to someone else the relative stake of the seller get smaller.

then don't forget the lost coins, even if pivx should have one of the lowest in the universe.

DO NOT USE STAKEPOOLS!

When your coins are in a stakepool, you don't own the coins.

The pool has the coins, they can be hacked and stolen, the owner can run away with your coins.

And remember: most people promoting stakepools, don't actually use the pool but earn coins with their referral links when you sign up.

Check the StakePool URL, it's hidden referral spam (again).
This one is smart, his username is "Home" so the URL looks genuine.

this is a stupid advice. The only way to get pos rewards if you don't have a huge amount of coins it's joining to a pool.

When the pool gets hacked, when an operator closes the pool and steels the coins... it's gone...

Nice rocket Just saying that it would be nice to have updated timetable... something with lot of margin to have time... and again a little announcement a few hours (days) would be even better concerning the launch... just that once is ready and set there is no surprise launch... That's the real problem with staking pools.

You don't hold the coins, you have no control over them.

Clearly, if you don't own the private keys, you don't own the coins. I am curious if it could lead to centralization... will see, anyway they have still a long time to go to prove themselves .

After releasing zpiv staking (which is a giant leap in the crypto space, full fungibility) the devs seem to want to develop a DEX for pivx !!! and having experience those guys, they may not be the fastest to release (even if they always piooner the most innovative things, like a fair and honnest release of a dash clone on quark, with the goal to have the first pos chain with masternode (done), then the first pos chain to implement zerocoin protocol (zpiv) and now in the last stage of the zpiv staking, zpiv 2.0...

zPIV is not working in my wallet "under maintenance"? when it will be working again?

Correct. This was announced in advance. If you didn't convert your zPiv to normal Piv prior to March 30, they will be temporarily unspendable until the new wallet is released and zPiv staking is activated (originally scheduled for April 7th; not sure if that's still in the cards given the delay in releasing wallet v.3.1.0). Once the new system is up and running AND you have updated your wallet, you'll be able to spend/convert them again (and stake them!).

A little history about the space race, when america was great !

"At 12:30 p.m. EST on October 26, 1961, the RP-1 propellant started to flow into the rocket. A slight surplus (3%) of the fuel required was put into the rocket, as it was possible to easily drain fuel. Just before launch, surplus fuel was removed from the tanks.

Liquid oxygen began flowing into its tanks at 3:00 a.m. the next day. It followed the same procedure as the RP-1 with the tanks being filled to 10 percent to check for leaks, then fast filled to 97 percent, then slowly topped off.

Glad to have helped you. However don't fuck it, be honest, no multi accounts shit posting just to make a quick pivx, and secondly, I think, as I am not sure to have understood you well, that if you can start to use pivx natively to trade to provide for your family, you will be 1 help spread pivx (don't forget to use zpiv to annonymize before doing a transaction) and two be able to win on taxes, which means more for your family. the only problem is that you and the seller will need to have access to electronics. And even if you can't do any of that, it's your choice to dump, you do what ever you want with the fruits of your work.

Today is 55 935 448 PIVX supply.   37000 more pivx than 4 days ago. is 9000 more PIVX by day. In one year we have with this calcul around 3376250 pivx more (around 6 % inflation). Is it not to much ? 
To optain more pivx we have 2 solutions /  staking or masternode. Staking seems not secure because you not hold your coin. Masternode is 10000 PIVX.
I have no 10000 PIVX. Pivx is interresting for masternode. What is the best solution for others.

Excellent remark concerning the coin supply expansion. 1st when you stake you own the private key... no need to take risks with a stake pool. 2nd I know it's hard to understand but by staking or running a mn you don't experience anything in regards to your share of the coin stock. It's means that you just keep your relative stake to the total intact. From your calculation at let's say a pivx@10$ it's only $33'762'500 of fresh coin supply... you know how much it cost per day to run all those asics with bitcoin? Of course it's always possible to make a proposal, another beauty of decentralized governance and lower the block rate at 4 or 2 pivx... nothing is impossible... but I would wait to at least reach 100'000'000 pivx... remember bitcoin has a max coin stock, but the supply is still increasing... and the next halving is in a long time still...

So yes, stake, find solution to increase your stake, to stake more...

For example right now if you have some cpu cycle free it's possible to mine monero and extract a few btc with it to increase your pivx stake .
