Hi, thoughts and moods:
The final price and popularity of coin depends on the obstinacy and motivation of the team.
A pump on any coin is not difficult to organize.
There were beautiful pumps in the past.
But the most interesting thing happens after a strong dump (when a coin loses about 99% of the value)
A stubborn and motivated team does not pay attention to the price (looking from outside)!
The team knows that its 1 coin is always equal to its 1 coin.
The team just calmly makes their product.
99% of investors are only interested in the coin price!
But, No marketing or weak (looking from outside)!
Many in the community lose faith in alternative coins (BTC dominates the cryptocurrency market)!
There are problems with the encoding! (!/?)
It’s good if there are many enthusiasts around the development team who work for free (on a volunteer basis).
But, the price falls in relation to other alt coins!
How can whales (new investors) become interested in a coin?
Maybe the community should organize and pay for product advertising to save this coin?

bitcoin dominance is almost 70% and it will go higher as we approach the next halving. there's not much capital left for alt coins.
in my opinion the whole alt coin bubble already popped in 2018 and only a handful projects will survive the next 1-3 years.

will coin xy survive? will pivx survive? nobody knows. at least pivx has a strong team and development. you can't expect much more ...

just belive in a project, or sell and move on

I like how detailed the response is, good read!

put yourself in a developer’s shoes. You are tasked with maintaining, developing, and building the core technology for this new frontier.  You are pinged 100x’s a day from scammers, bots, trolls, and the like with messages including “Hey, I need your help” or “How do I fork PIVX” or “there is an error, I need help” or “your codebase sucks” or “you have a bug…click here”.  In almost NO other sector are those who are working on this level of the codebase that “accessible” to the general public.

and I definitely agree, developer job is tough, thank you all devs!

These guys who found these vulnerabilities are really professional and did all what possible to inform all affected projects about it. In other cases article in Medium would be enough to spread the word and to inform everybody but they did much more and contacted all of the teams separately, still until today nothing was fixed.

So many good masternode projects literally die lately. Price fell almost 99%, development stopped, no marketing, the community dies, low volume, delisted from exchanges, gone.

I already wrote before - an investor evaluates the success of developers in US dollars or BTC (behind coin)!
The bottom line is we just don’t have enough price PIVX for calm (way down, way down, way down......).
For developers, 1 PIVX is always equal to 1 PIVX!
It’s just not my cup of tea.

I propose to go down from the virtual world of developers to the real world of investors.
In the real world (last price) 1 PIVX = 0.00003051 BTC (or $ 0.30).
I have some encouraging news for the real world (for PIVX investors).
So,
Some time ago, I exchanged part of a PIVX bag in ETH.
In time of exchange behind ~ 512 PIVX  received 1 ETH.
At some point, my diversification PIVX /ETH was the right decision.
Currently 1 ETH = ~ 510/511 PIVX.

Gentlemens, Whoever may have there is experience of more successful monetary diversification of PIVX/different coins?

I asked about the diversification of PIVX into another crypto coins.
In this way, a community (holders PIVX) can compare the success of a PIVX with other coins.
It is forbidden compare?

All coins are compared with BTC, ETH, .........!
