Anything that is being used as a medium of exchange is money. Bitcoin, like gold, is money.
Yes. It doesn't matter what nation-states think bitcoin is. All we're doing is saying bitcoin as something else other than its economic reality. Yes this is really a great opportunities to many people who want to invest in bitcoin but many people have panic because of the rapidly increasing price so bitcoin so they think that they need to invest right now. Bitcoin is just like other altcoin that can has pump and dump process in price just like any other things like gold, fiat money etc,. in market. Just as Theymos said bitcoin is money too. But unlike any other things bitcoins pumps very often and has been steadily increasing for the past years and experts are saying that bitcoin's price will increase upto 2000-2500$ at the end of the year. |

Nothing ever pumps forever, and never dumps. If it does, it's not a pump and dump. Bitcoin has genuine value, and large spikes in the price cannot be compared to a pump and dump. |

Oh, maybe this is not money in full, but it fulfills the function of money, cause we can use bitcoin for buing and selling. So, I think that it can be called a full currency.

It is more than a money. Bitcoin can be a good source of income since it does not requires a lot of knowledge, we just need some time and understanding a little of trading and investing. Well, the term money is right, but we have to be more specific about this, because there is a lot of money, like the fiat, that we use in the real world and the virtual money that we are using in the internet to buy stuffs and so on which is called cryptocurrencies. The term " Money" is the fiat, because it is the term that we are used on calling the currency that we are using in our everyday lives. |

Yes, for me bitcoin is money because I can convert it into a real cash/money. All my expenses was came from bitcoin, in my daily routine in life. As in all my billings payment came from bitcoin so thanks to bitcoin that I found it.  |

Yeah bitcoin works just like the natural money in our daily living, bitcoin can be used anywhere but as of now we cannot do that because bitcoin is not that popular and a lot of stores didn't know what is bitcoin and how it works so they are not aware of this beautiful opportunity but i think this income years bitcoin will just like how we use our money like buying and spending bitcoins to buy stuffs in a local store. |

Bitcoin is a digital money but its same as real money as we can earn it in different ways and also use it for buying goods like paper money so the features of bitcoin are similar to that of real money.
Yes exactly the Bitcoin the bitcoin is digital money the one we cannot touch or feel physically but we take all the same functions from it which tangible or physical money performs. I suspect many people would disagree with that I'm more inclined to think that we should rather call money (fiat in this case) that we use in our everyday lives currency. Despite the fact that I'm myself on the whole against distinguishing between the terms, money and currency (because this more often than not actually contributes to confusion, not removes it), but here it seems to be the case where such distinction makes sense. In this way, Bitcoin is money as well as fiat, but only fiat can be considered as a genuine currency since only the latter is used as a regular means of exchange in "real life" (i.e. specifically as a currency) |

That is true, bitcoin pretty much fulfills this function, but it is very important to say that this is just a one thing about bitcoin. You can use cryptocurrencies for many different things, for investing,holding, paying for something etc. Also, if you invest in some particular crypto, you pretty much support the whole network: same thing with bitcoin because a good example of it might be last days in Japan: the bitcoin price holds pretty stable on insanely high price level, because Japan citizens are making a big part of daily volume. After all , BTC will be adopted in this country so people want to obtain some of it. |
