Mining coins save or sell it?

Why mine altcoins? Just buy them and take the ride of the whales profit taking.

After all, altcoins are just made to make short term profits. No altcoin investment are meant for long term.

Most of them do not last but ethereum poses some good future but not enough to convince me though. I will just trade that coins and take advantage of the cheap price now.

The price of etc has really gone down since yesterday so I think this is good time to invest in it as price may go higher in future allowing us to make good profits.

Try to buy or mine altcoin with good backup community and altcoin are really good if they have good promotion and development.they earn you alot of profit.it takes time ,mostly every major coins now a days taken a lot time to reach the price that they are now.

Altcoin trading is all about luck you never know what will happen with the coin in future so its better to play with it in short term and withdraw profits at right time.

bitcoin price has kind of flat lined recently,so to make some kind of substantial profit you would need to hold it for a little while till the price goes up or invest in alt coins if you are looking for early profits.

i think you should sell them only if you very very need money, otherwise save everything that you can,as price of bitcoin is pretty low at this moment so you should wait for price rise

I bought my first bitcoin a few years back. I still have them.
I also mine the altcoins and convert to the bitcoin. I hold most of the coins for the long term.

Yeah selling at this stage is not profitable as price is not too high at a moment so its better to save them for future and sell when price goes higher helping us to make good profits.

if doing mining bitcoin I think it is better to immediately sell it. because if the price drops or lower, if calculated you will lose. because every month you have to pay electricity bills which be pretty high.

I agree with you, altcoins are for short term profits but if you want the free one, i think mining altcoins also good, especially if the price of that altcoins is really big.

I agree with you, altcoins are for short term profits but if you want the free one, i think mining altcoins also good, especially if the price of that altcoins is really big.

I don't think mining will give you altcoins, when you mind you are in a business because you need to spend for the equipment and the electricity that will be consume during the operation, so it is never free and there even a chance that the coin you mine is not profitable so you will lose on your operation.

if mine altcoin then hold for a long time, this is just a luck and unpredictability. if the coin can rise very high you are lucky, if the coin die or become litter, you may be a bit of a loss. but even, if you are good enough to find the information, when there is a new coin born, it is good to be mined. gains could be even greater when the difficulty level is still very small.

I do not see it is a good idea to hold altcoins in the long run, I have not see altcoin that succeed in the long run like what happen with bitcoin. Only bitcoin so far is good for long term investment while others are only for short term.

Holding altcoin for long term doesn't make any sense as there is no guarantee that it will survive in long term, and it will be very risky to hold them as it may disappear at any point of time.

Not all altcoins are waste, it seems that a few altcoins is a back up for bitcoins and use for exchange and tradings... I use my altcoins exchange to cloud mining that I got it from faucets. I can't participate regularly in exchange services due to my busy time.

I don't agree, I'd sell as much as I need to cover the bills which were made by mining and save the rest of the bitcoins. They are kinda stabelish now but they will go up again for sure.

Yeah, saving might mean a great future for you. If the same thing will happen as it did in 2013 after the halving, we will all be rich here.

The thing is, there can never be only one crypto currency in the future, altcoin are destine to support bitcoin and maybe act as an independent project. We can see a lot of altcons now with great potential in the future and if that is just a waste investors will not support that with their money.

Well if that person if pointing on upgrades then it's just fine since after all upgrades were completed, all earnings will goes on now for savings.

But anyways people have different preferences on how they will use their mined coins.
