question for hardcore gamblers
when you have btc you mostly spend all on gambling and you are addicted how so when you dont have btc you dont miss gambling?
i know that i gamble for fun (i dont care too much of my money so i can afford to lose 10,50,100$) so why when you have btc you go to gamble even tho you know you will most likely lose ?
does this question have any sence to you? if not ill just lock topic im just interested how people when have btc they are addicted and when they dont have gambling addiction is not comming out.?

I do gamble for fun only and when I have no BTC I'm not missing gambling at all, I have many other things to do. And yes I know that most likely I will lose but I still gamble if I want to wind out a little.

I always set a goal for myself for example I have set some amount of bitcoin for spending this month, and this amount whatever it is, will be the only bitcoin that I will spend and not a satoshi over this budget.

also the amount it set aside is determined due to the price of bitcoin (the higher the price the lower my budget will be) and also it depends on how much bitcoin I have earned that month.

If this happen to me, I may stay away from gamble for a while since I can't do anything without btc ( except I spend my time to play by faucet )

The days when I lost a lot amount on gambling I was trying to stay out of it, but I was unable to stay away from gambling for a long.

it means you really are addicted. I also did the same thing as you, I lost a lot, but I still play gambling. but this time I was not too often playing gambling, I prefer taking an important moment to bet. because my favorite bet is sport betting.

I think its desperation to chase loses and break even. Wanting to always come back and telling yourself next time you will ein back what you lost. Even after you do win back some still keep going and lose even more now they even worse off. It has a lot to do with addictionand chasing loses very dangerous.

It is because every time you do gambling and lose you will be more eager to win back your previous loses, which is also the main purpose of gambling, wagering your money hoping for a good outcome to earn extra money or earned back your loss money or BTC.

We can also add to it the happiness that you felt when we are challenged, because we all know that on gambling it is full of risk and those risk to lose your money gives us challenge and that is causing an excitement for us.

Yeah it is quite familiar situation which is happening with most of the people, i also was in that kind of situation long time ago when somebody provide a premium tip that a underdog is going to win against hot favorite team so i got greedy and put all of money on this and got busted.

We are just the same happen to my life. but yeah only sports betting can give good stats to us.. not only you we are many..
before i can get out of btc in my wallet while am playing that give to me thrill in poker but don't have balance in my wallet to get all in because my card is good  that i can get more profit when i deposit again but out of btc..
Thats why i don't play poker again if i want to make a real profit.. i am sports bettor now..

Well it's not true addiction if when they don't have any money to gamble they don't gamble. Addiction is when you're borrowing money and going into debt. The other type is just greedy misuse of money they have

When I'm out of bitcoins I usually get some more from Localbitcoins or I simply use the faucet to gamble with. However, when I'm really pissed though I usually just quit gambling for a while.

You shouldn't be out of bitcoin ever though if you're a responsible gambler.

The major way people earn from gambling is with skill games such as texas holdem. With your knowledge of the probability to make your flush draws or straight draws you can bet a specific amount or raise a specific amount to always be above expected value which will make you money.
