Yeah, I've play the bomberman game where you will earn few satoshis when you kill player, iirc. It's so much fun, to be honest.

I have been trying this Bomberman game lately, caution: It's highly addictive, and you think you may be losing less money than in a pure gambling site because it's skill based, but you actually end up losing more. There are really skilled people already that have played hundred of matches (you can check how many matches a person has played by clicking on the drawing/cartoon avatar think. If they are really good I would avoid playing against them until you are skilled yourself.

Poker is a skill based game.  If you're good with math, cards, and know a little bit about software, then you can make a killing playing online poker.  You'd need to find a site that is compatible with the available software, but there are all kinds of tools that one can use to take advantage of the game.  Poker is highly a skill based game....there is some probability involved but the trick is to use those statistics to get an upper hand on your opponent....there's a lot of money that can be made playing poker!

Unfortunately, there aren't many games like this because of the fear of bots rigging the game.

OP, one other skill game you can try is tappabit.com, it's a good game but unfortunately there isn't a big userbase.

The problem with skill based games (and yes they are fun) is they become dominated by bots or highly skilled players. Primedice which currently has the most traffic in Bitcoin gambling used to have PvP dice but removed it due to lack of use. So unfortunately, if the highest traffic gambling site saw almost no play on games like this then the market simply isn't there for it.

On the bright side at least with provably fair casinos you can verify your bets were fair which is something you wouldn't be able to do in a skill based game. You are basically trading some of the fun factor (in skill based games) for guaranteeing your bets are mathematically fair.

There are a few minesweeper and battleship like games, but apart from those few sites there are not many skill based games around. Maybe poker can be an option, if you consider it as a skill based game.

Regarding your question about pure gamble vs skill based games I'd say I'd like to see more skill based games. Most 100% luck based games (dice, slots, etc.) are quite boring.

Minesweeper and Battleship is not skill based. Its based on house edge just like dice.

Skill based is something like Chess against other humans.

It's not because of that, the problem with pvp games is that you need to have a really big amount of people in your site to be able to play. There is also the possibility of cheaters, thats why skill games like chess are impossible to implement and other games similar to that are also impossible to make.

Chess is a really easy one to cheat though, games like poker you can cheat but its hard if the game is 1 on 1, the only way then is to have a bot smarter than a human.  Agar seems to be working so far.

I already know that game, it's getting pretty popular I think, and I hope that will be the next step in the gambling world, it would bring a lot of fun to gambling, and that's what I normally search for. Well this one is a MMORPG so maybe it can't be done just with browser gaming. Only saw some screenshots and a few youtube videos, but the game is full 3D etc, so I understand the need to download and install the game. But in the rest, yes, I agree with you.
