I feel like most men are interested to bitcoins than women and  almost all of the members here are male. I'm just wondering if how many females like me are here interested with bitcoins.

Transgendered people know how to party. So do regular transvestites. My ex girlfriend took me out to a strip club and unbeknownst to me "forgot" to tell me it was a strip club for men dressing up like women and putting on a show. I noticed a lot of girls tricking their boyfriends their as a prank. You don't trick the one you love. She did actions like that multiple times, and in different ways where I couldn't predict it.

That's why she's my ex. Grin

Oh haven't you heard?

Alright, so I've been PM'd by a few people what red-flags to look out for since I have a pretty good track record of spotting scammers.  Sometimes I get it wrong, but better safe than sorry.  Anyway, watch out for the typical behavior from scammers who will usually fit at least two or three (and sometimes even more) of the following characteristics:

0. Newbies, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH OTHER NEWBIES, EVER. There are plenty of veteran members to do business with and ALWAYS use escrow. If you're a newbie you're doing business with another newbie, there's a 100% chance that you will get scammed (or you're a scammer yourself).
1. New account (usually created within the last 3 months, plus or minus)
2. Low-medium message count with vapid posts of little to no contributory value
3. Use of a seemingly realistic first/last name as their forum account name
4. Signs posts with full name
5. Straight out of Newbie mode right into Lending (requesting a loan of course)
6. Straight out of Newbie mode right into Currency Exchange (PayPal, Liberty Reserve, Western Union)
7. Straight out of Newbie mode and selling gift cards/codes/Steam games of any kind
(they'll often be purchased with stolen CC info, leaving you holding the bag later on down the road)
8. Any user blatantly claiming to be female
9. New user trying to sell an Apple iAnything
10. Sob stories asking for handouts
11. Never send to a Bitmerch.com address for escrow!!!

So that being said, apparently females are inherently scammers here.. Sad ..So as such, being that the rules of the internet states that Women do not exist on the internet, it would seem that there are "0" females in existence on bitcointalk..  Cry ..It also tends to drive honest people whom attribute their gender to female, whither genetically or personality-wise, away from trading out of fear of being labelled as a scammer simply for letting people know that they are female (with or without the requisite plumbing).

I do not understand and I don't know why claiming that you are a she here are branded as scammers since I am really new to this forum. That is a bit rude for me for I am a  she. If  that is the case then no one will openly admit here that they are female since they had been already branded as scammers in this forum. Ahhh... now  I feel silly asking that question after reading all the commments and that number 8 on how to spot scammers.

I am in a private steam group that mentions something along the lines of people claiming to be female to try "begging" for stuff as a female, as sometimes people are more willing to allow themselves get "scammed" in a sense by someone claiming to be a female that has promised, a-hmm, "sexual favors" or something along that lines like nudes, etc (Which is apparently pointed out in that "Confirmed Female" User's negative trust..  Undecided ).. In fact, this group, although it has been slowly shrinking in size for some time, makes a point of only allowing female steam users into the group (Which is usually confirmed by the admins or vouched by trusted members in the group if such confirmation is not possible), as a way of making a gaming community for women by women or something along those lines.

Okay, I don't know what to say that women has that bad reputation to the gaming world and forums but now I get it. I hope my account here would not get banned then since I can't prove I am a female. And I will never beg for bitcoins and if it will come to the point that I need to scam people, I could just try using those countless credit/debit card info's from my main work here online to buy bitcoins but I am still lucky I don't need to do that. Well I am just human and tempted sometimes to try it but I am freakingly afraid karma would get back to my kids.

Humility is what makes us human, and still having enough of a conscience to know what is right and wrong is, in my opinion the best way to better yourself. I do not believe that claiming to be female here without justifiable is sole grounds to instigate a ban. That is something that cannot be helped, although it can simply be omitted, but some people tend to just be too honest to lie about their "plumbing" or even forget to admit it..  Tongue ..And while some people might use it as grounds to try extorting people for free stuff, not every "female" in body or simply in spirit is going to do so, but as it does follow a so-called equation to spotting potential scammers, others might not feel the same way unfortunately, but they are free to think what they want, as that is how freedom of speech and opinion works really..

okay.. good to know there's someone like me here. You know, it just feels good to know there is someone like you in a group. That was just my point asking that question not knowing mentioning you are a female in a forum is really a big big no no.
