How about that one ?
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

On-thread Trivia!

https://rollin.io/assets/img/og.pnghttps://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/da/Trivia_1.png

aaand the question for today is:

Q. Bob, a player at Rollin has wagered 5313.4931 mBTC. He bets 50 mBTC at Lower than 1 and wins. What is his payout?

Post your answer with your Rollin account for 7 mBTC. Rollin account should be at least level 2 OR the bitcointalk account full member and above. First to answer correctly, to the point wins the prize.

Remember, no edits.

His profit is 4950 with 0.90% house edge , so his payout is 4950-(5000*0.90/100%)=4905mBTC

Because I think my first calculation is not right, so I make a new answer but also deleting my first answer.(It's fair, right?)

His profit would be 4902mBTC. Is that correct?
This is wrong.

Is it 4903mBTC?
This is correct! But: you've entered 2 answers, so I'm not sure how this counts...

Nope. Wink

I have to go atm. Will check back later.
Is this "Nope" for retes12345, for TriggerX, or for both?

Now my answer:
Bob has wagered more than 5000 mBTC, so he has a lvl 4 account. That means his house edge is 0.94%, which gives 4903 mBTC profit.

This nicely illustrates the effect of a lower house edge. I'll show the profit for a 50 mBTC win at 1% chance for all levels:
lvl 1: 4900 mBTC (house edge 1.00%)
lvl 2: 4901 mBTC (house edge 0.98%)
lvl 3: 4902 mBTC (house edge 0.96%)
lvl 4: 4903 mBTC (house edge 0.94%)
lvl 5: 4904 mBTC (house edge 0.92%)
lvl 6: 4905 mBTC (house edge 0.90%)
lvl 7: 4906 mBTC (house edge 0.88%)
lvl 8: 4907 mBTC (house edge 0.86%)
lvl 9: 4908 mBTC (house edge 0.84%)
lvl 10: 4909 mBTC (house edge 0.82%)
lvl 11: 4910 mBTC (house edge 0.80%)

Oh no... I miscounted again, and you're right.
His profit is 4950 with 0.94% house edge , so his payout is 4950-(5000*0.94/100%)=4903mBTC

I misread the Level, I used the house edge for level 6 Cheesy

payout = 4953mBTC
username: skierchewing

this is the profit table, not payout table... for me it`s 4953mbtc... let me explain why...
when you play you wager your bet, don`t care if you win or lose...
so if you play 50mbtc, you already wagered it...

Profit = Payout - Wagered
Payout = Value you going to receive in your pocket (final)
Wager = Value you bet and wagered (not more in your pocket)

so We have 4903mbtc (Profit) = 4953mbtc (Payout) - 50mbtc (Wager)
Payout and profit are two differents things for me... anyway, let`s see...

at the end you going to receive 4953mtc

Interesting approach Smiley But since rollin shows the amount won in big green font, I assume that amount is the required answer.

but the green font you refering says "profit" tab... not the payout hehe... if you check any other site the show the payout it's the profit + wager bet
