To the readers of the C-Cex newsletter, a recent edition of which listed EverGreenCoin EGC as warned for delisting on May 8th, it is May 8th by my calendar and we have over 6 BTC volume at ccex over the last 30 days. We will not be delisted.

Cryptopia has upgraded EverGreenCoin EGC to a 4 out of 5 rating! Because of the 2% foundation fund being considered a "premine" (even though it is not), 4 out of 5 is the highest score possible. Understandably, Cryptopia wants investors to know "... that 2% of the coins are designated."

I do personally, and will in writing, object to them preventing us the 5th star because of it. Preventing a project of the 5th star because it plans for the future and knows funding will be needed is not fair. The 2% is properly disclosed elsewhere for investors to find.

Really, its a 4 out of 4. ...but I will fight for the 5th anyway.

There is a big important difference with premine and devfunds.

99% of all shitcoins has a instamined premine, which again is used for dump way before pow ends.
If i dont remember wrong, EGC's development fund were made by founders reward?
Meaning no instamine, but a slow gradual buildup during pow phase, this way ensuring the dev stays for the long run for the long pay.

Great to hear that - I've added a liquidity bot to c-cex now too - so we should be (a little) covered there, although only have a few hundred EGC assigned there for now - also have the bot up on cryptopia but didn't manage to gather enough funds to start offering liquidity on there yet - thought that c-cex is a better place to concentrate - now if there is some demand at least people can buy =)

For example, EverGreenCoin Renewables we will be able to purchase components for the solar staker tax-exempt, reducing the financial commitment needed to produce them. This also will open a world of possibilities for grants and other financial mechanisms we will then qualify for. Not to mention the obvious confidence it should give investors.

Yes, the nonprofit status will open many doors for EverGreenCoin and the foundation. I am very excited about taking EverGreenCoin to a new level and greatly appreciate all the help in doing so.

We had a meeting about the signatures this morning actually. Some of the attendees would like to see more signatures made before we make final discussions. On that note, if anyone in the community has experience with creating ascii art, please PM me.

The rules are yet to be finalized also, but it is safe to say they will be similar to other signature campaigns as we are looking at other successful campaigns as reference.
