Don't call it bad day, it was a good day I would say and feel lucky you sent first and got refunded. Please use a escrow when dealing with anyone unless he is well trusted.

Btw, whats the fees you are able to give for the exchange, may have some trade for you.

You cannot protect yourself when sell bitcoins for skrill. The only way to minimize the chance of getting scammed is to deal with high trust users.

Paypal is worst if you are going to do trade with any newbie or unknow user Skrill have also same problem but less try to always done with good trusted peoples here on this forum

As bitcoinmar said its best to skrill trades with trusted members of this forum. There are quite a few of them that do skrill trades.
