But sending from wallet to wallet during an attack is risky,

That's the whole point any person using an Android Wallet could receive funds during these hacks and then loose them a little while later.

The main problem - will the main pools implement this update and what will they gain from it? I don't like tokens and all this Etherium stuff - but maybe the coinswap is better from this side? CasinoCoin - another one coin I was mining along with SXC - swapped to some other codebase - not Etherium tokens and not mineable too. Ripple-based if I am not wrong. The SexCoin idea is very close to CSC - only the markets differ - maybe this way is better?

As far as I can understand your vision is to left behind the "direct mining" and all the problems it brings and concentrate on integration of the coin? - maybe yes, maybe it's time to do so. The only thing I agree with - SCRYPT algo is a "ded end" at the moment. And I'll not leave the project.

Swapping to a Token is that you are relying entirely on another coin to handle your transactions.

The pools are the ones most affected in that they could be just about to do their daily / weekly?? payout for mining when an attack occurs - the pool pays out and then an attack to the network occurs and their funds paid have been reversed.  An argument could occur between the pool operator and a miner about funds received and then lost.

I've never heard of a pool operator staying on an old wallet version - they would loose miners very quickly.  It's in their best interest to migrate.

Anyone got sxc coins they want to sell? And is there any idea how long the coins going to be down also is the there going to be a altered or remodelled coin, or is the hope to just end the hack, any decisions made yet?

I've never heard of a pool operator staying on an old wallet version - they would loose miners very quickly.  It's in their best interest to migrate.

if we are talking about merged mining - it's litecoin or other high hashrate coin pool operators that should update their pool software and install merged mining coin daemon. Will they do it?

That is one of the challenges of putting in merge-mining. I've been approaching pool operators to see what kind of commitments we can get to keep the network balanced.

I would definitely merge-mine SXC.
One hint though from past experience when chains went auxpow: Make sure you choose a really unique auxpow chain-id, don't make pool ops having to choose between merge-mining SXC OR another coin.

Not sure if I understand your post or if there is some well hidden irony I can't spot with my limited school english, sorry.
In any case, ahmed once upon a time dug up a list of chain-ids in use (at that time) which might be helpful if you decide to go auxpow:

Awesome!! I was just trying to chase these down this morning!!! Thank you!!!

When Sexcoin was initially released, the network magic number was not changed so we kept getting collisions with Litecoin's network. This caused a mountain of trust problems with the client and was a serious thorn in all the Dev team's ass for a long time. We finally got rid of all remnants of it on our last release.

Second to last post in that thread (in case you missed it) there's another list here: https://steemit.com/sha256/@bitcoinnational/sha-256-coins (admittedly it's not scrypt), but if you're looking for such stuff for another coin there it is.

::Update::

Sexcoin's new client with merge-mining will be available in approximately 3 weeks. We are implementing SegWit, and Lightning for Sexcoin will be possible. Merge-mining is tentatively scheduled to activate in approximately 8 weeks. This release schedule is dependent on the outcome of some testing, so we are setting it as a target. Development of the new client is very much underway and on track.

Both Livecoin and Cryptopia continue to express a willingness to reopen trading. The timeline for this is unknown right now because we are still working with them.

We have acquired commitments from pool-ops to institute merge-mining. Some commitments are tentative, some are definitive. Our goal is to make sure we have enough hashpower to secure the network, while keeping any single pool under 51%. At the moment, it looks like we will achieve this. More on this later because of the tentative commitments.

I have been avoiding posting many of the details of the attack. The reason for this is quite simply that I do not want to inadvertantly write a 'how-to' guide on launching an attack. At this moment, you either know and I don't need to tell you or you don't, and then I would end up spending countless posts explaining the explanation. When the network is secured, I'll be willing to revisit this topic. However, for those who know enough to ask the right questions, this graph will lead you to the answer.

The state of the Sexcoin network right now is "vulnerable to attack", for the reasons I stated in this post. Those conditions still exist, and our average hashrate has dropped now that miners cannot 'auto-sell' on exchanges.

There is some good news in all of this, and for the good news, the Dev Team is really excited! As above, we are going to implement SegWit. Both transaction malleability and multi-sig are going to be fixed. The features necessary to support Lightning will be in the new client, which can help facilitate 'time-on-the-line' payments (as in pay-per-minute while active). Development on sexcore-sexcoin will be finished up and all the features that brings will be available. Because the work on sexcore-sexcoin and the merge-mining client overlap, sexcore-sexcoin will be available very shortly after the merge-mine release. We also believe we have found a way to get a sexcoin wallet onto the iPhone store.

A good friend who advises and suggests what you can buy and where to invest. Now is a time when people help each other a little.
