[Proposal] New "Ancient" ranking / higher than Legendary

I'll leave it up to the administration to hash out the prerequisites, but with the upcoming halving in ~June 2016, figured it would warrant discussion to have something more senior than Legendary.

EDIT: Additionally, propose the final "Coin" in the profile be adjusted from half purple, to a full, bright-orange coin.

For Jr. Member it's 30, for Member 60, for Full Member 120, for Sr. Member it's 240, for Hero 480 and for Legendary (although random) it's around 960.
Then the logic answer would be 1920, either exactly that or somewhat random around that. So about 5 years and 3 months of full activity would be required.

If you do it I would hope they keep the randomness of legendary.  So have a range you get it within but it is a big range.  

Like how I'm still hero but could hit legendary any activity change.  Makes it kinda fun.   So please keep the random feature if you do add another rank above legendary

Legendary already takes several years to obtain. I feel like this is enough. Maybe if I someday start to see that there's some decently-sized subset of Legendary members who are "noticeably more veteran", then another rank would be appropriate.

Just like theymos has written above, I too do think that legendary is already hard enough to obtain. And to be quite honest, I don't see them this much!

This doesn't mean that in few years, addition of one extra rank won't be necessary. Then we will have many more legendary members!

I don't really think it would. While it would be nice for this forum to live for a long time, I doubt anyone will care about an online number of points and title to stay here for several decades.

I'd rather see a rework of the high level ranks. The required levels of posting are almost non existent so at the moment its simply a "who has the oldest account" game. For example, Legendary requires ~1000 posts over 1000 days....

I saw the introduction of Legendary rank when there were too many hero ranks. Now that there are not many legendaries anyway, there is no need to introduce another rank above. Although 2000 activity is a logical number, that's 5.5 years of fully active postings. I wonder how many members can achieve that.

...and since it's exactly what it is, a "who has the oldest account game", it's not even a game since you can't beat someone else if you're both trying.
