An explosion has hit an overpass near a metro station at Bayrampaşa in Istanbul, local media report. At least one person killed and several people injured.

​​According to preliminary reports, the explosion was caused by a bomb. ​

Transformer explosion, but they will blame the Kurds. Any excuse for the Turks to attack. Just 24 days and they (turks) will have the stuffing knocked out of them.

Your source is not right. I watched the news, they said only 1 injured, no dead.
Although Turkey has a lot of enemies right now, this incident is not related to ISIS, Russia, PKK or other groups.

A pipe bomb left on a highway overpass near an Istanbul subway station exploded Tuesday, wounding five people, a local official said.
