Retail traders get attracted to leverage as moths to light bulbs and end up fried.
Trading bitcoin futures on 20X leverage is an almost sure way to lose your shirt.
Just by entering into the position you've already lost a significant part of your capital.

The game taught me the game. And it didn’t spare the rod while teaching. Jesse Livermore.

That's why you only invest max $10 at a time xD

Well, that's life. You win some, you lose some. Or in this case, win none, lose $80,000.

Leveraging Bitcoin is like the worst idea in the universe. Far worse than trading altcoins, which is actually safe in comparison.

you can see it like this, with that huge loss, many have gained through trading, so it's always a positive news in the end, if involves many gains, but if the opposite happen not so much, it leads to centralization..

No, that is why you invest percentage of your money. It either can be 5%, 10% or 50%. I doubt that for Fontas $80k loss is heartbreaking. He is fed.

A lot of people are going to lose everything and the future income for the rest of the lives due to trading with leverage.

The finacial bullshit in todays world is 100% criminal.  Eventually reality will come in like a nuke and smash the greedy ones.
