Bank for bitcoins are not needed. It require lots of energy. Hope this can happen when BTC is accepted worldwide and we do nave a physical bitcoins as like other local currencies along with in digital format. But as of now, wallets are more than enough and we are well settled with its function and features. Really more adequate and comfortable.
however BANK I think is very important. because with the bitcoin bank certainly we would be guaranteed funding. This as well as an exchange, but more reliable legality. when there is bitcoin bank then this will be better.

legit? Do you know if everybody wants to withdraw their money, they can't because banks will have just a few %? The rest of the money they use for lending or whatever

It's a legitimated scheme, banks are a joke, they just have some security on your money because you pay for this service.

I don't think there is one or there will ever will be. Because right now all we see in the internet are all scams in which they provide high interest rate to attract people to put their money on, but what really is happening is that they are just giving money from the new investors to the old one but the real winners are the scammers which will be the one running away with your money.
maybe users will think that bitcoin bank will only commit fraud and scam, because they have control over your bitcoin, I think bitcoin bank may have to take the trust first

Do we really require a bank for bitcoins as we are already well secured with wallet systems. The wallet system is so comfortable and adequate. It reduces our time and energy. We do not require to reach a place or someone for any transactions. All are inbuilt in wallets.

Internet banking is as convenient as the wallets you mention. Smiley
If you use a web wallet, then banks can be considered much safer as well.

I think the financial system of the bitcoin currency is different from the bank so that the decentralized and bank is centralized .we keep our bitcoin in wallet system ,but we still need bank to change the currency bitcoin into fiat and it's can take in real money by atm .
we can invest bitcoin like we invest in bank and it's very advantages because bitcoin always rise.bit coin can transferred to another wallet and it's has a low low fee

I am not convinced with the internet banking here in my country, because many banks was breached of hackers easily as their customers are complaining that their account was hacked and from with a maintaining balance it became zero balance as the clients checked it. So I am not really convinced with the security of internet banking and if they will adopt bitcoins, then I will still doubt them.
Where is your country? if a bank is easily breached by the hacker it's mean the bank security is not strong enough, and usually things like this will be a national issue and become the government concern, because there are a lot of transaction using internet banking, but i think it will be different if you are using bitcoin because up until now there is still no report regarding hacking from the system

I don't agree with bitcoin bank because it's anonymous and let it remain anonymous why should we take risk by letting our money in other hands they might scam us again let us not give chance to them again.

I do not think there is a bitcoin bank since it was decentralized and digital currency.

Since it was online, its wallet is your bank.

It was a little bit close to the bank but secured.

I can say wallet is the bank because in that, you can do deposit, withdraw, and paying.

Isn't the idea of a bitcoin bank an oxymoron? The whole point of bitcoin was to have a decentralized currency. Creating a bank would just form a central institution. I feel like establishing a bank would sort of contradict what Satoshi Nakamoto wanted in the first place for bitcoin.

Actually, even if you're using hardware wallet or any kind of high-security wallet it's not much safer than when you're saving your money on bank. If your bank accounts were hacked then you will get the replacement fund immediately and the bank will be responsible of it while if you use some sort of bitcoin wallet and getting hacked, there's no one will be responsible for this problem but you

if this is really happen, then we as bitcoin user, don't have to controlled our bitcoin like before and its not god for us because i think that bank will applying some fee or some tax to us when we want to sending bitcoin which is more high than blockchain fee itself and its not good. with government involve in bitcoin, then it will many regulations that will not give benefit for the user but for government itself.

The only problem I can see is that they will centralized the decentralized thing. And I think it would not be possible looking at any angle of the implementation, bitcoin will remain decentralized and that's the nature of bitcoin we love.

Banks are centralized so we can't trust it, we do not actually have the right confidentiality they promise to us.

In this world, you can't tell who are trusted or not but one thing I am certain our information is encrypted and safe in bitcoin.

In my opinion a bitcoin bank could bring big disasters, because than its something that can control people from having their money and such things.
I think we can better stay at our wallets and have no bitcoin banks at all for a few years till its maybe time for it.

I think that banks will have to adopt bitcoin at some point at least as a commodity. I think that in the future banks will offer to store and protect bitcoins, giving safety as an exchange. To me safety is going to be the main issue that will make the difference, there can be no mass adoption if people dont feel safe owning bitcoins.
