Maybe some inspiration will help?

I put the link in IMG tags, but it doesn't show up. What's going on?

Wow! This is off to a great start. This is very nice!
Thanks subSTRATA.

Would it be worthwhile work in a picture like this around the perimeter?

I made this using a scale creator extension in inkscape (practice, practice):

If it helps, feel free to use it. Your logo looks seriously awesome!

Oh, then I used this: http://code.google.com/p/inkscapescalegenerator/ if you want to try out some other settings.

It had a bunch of other options - I only played around with it for 5 mins or so for the one I posted. I did have to manually rotate each number (x*36deg) to face the center though.

This?

Thanks!

I asked my 10 year old what he thought:
He said it looked like a gear, a key, and a protractor.

So, maybe my idea was a little overkill. It does look extremely cool though.

Is the Black gradient box around it part of the logo?

If we do keep the dial, then maybe it would be good to have fewer lines that are more exaggerated and exclude the numbers.

End the end, do what you think is best. You are really good at this.

i've been trying to use gimp but I'm having trouble with it looking like shit ....when it scales up you can see every pixel and circles do not look smooth and round...

  anyway....

what if you got rid of the gear....rounded the edges to look like a safe dial  ....got rid of   "itsafe" and everything to the right of it...and try to implement the name a different way.

just my 2 cents

mine won't look anywhere near as nice...but since i need practice anyway I'll see what my very beginner ass can come up with.
