We are running quite possibly the highest-paying Bitcoin poker freeroll ever @ 8PM GMT, 11/25/2012 - certainly based on the number of participants. Only 20 spots are available. As few as 6 players will start the freeroll.

The buyin is 10k player points. Many of our players already have this amount, and many more are close. One player point is awarded for every 25¢ wagered on StrikeSapphire (including in real-money poker games).

Tournament registration opens 6 hours before the game. In the meanwhile, every night this week at 8pm GMT we are running 1000 PP payout tournaments (300 PP buyin, 3 players to start), where you can earn the points necessary to buy into Sunday's big event.

See you at the tables!

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

UPDATE:

The Sunday tournament is open for entry as of now.

Due to a shortage of interested players with the 10k PP required to buy in, we have lowered the pot to $100 and commensurately lowered the buyin to 5k PP, putting it in range of twice as many players. Go sign up! If we don't have enough players for the game, we will postpone it.

It's not a freeroll if one must have 5k PP to enter...

We consider it a freeroll because no money is required to play. Sapphire player points have no monetary value. Also, it is completely possible to earn money by playing in other freerolls, then earn points from that money.

So this is a freeroll ...just one that's mainly open to loyal players.

I'd love to enter, but I'm not going to have anytime to play.

Also, this is NOT a freeroll it's a 5k player points entry.

I can't enter the tournament because my IP is detected as US. (I'm in Canada with a weird ISP).

VPN is a no go because your site blocks connections from VPN.

**EDIT

I am now fully blocked from their site through any means. Nice work guys.

Looks like a good deal if you play some games it doesnt take long to run up 5k vpp.  With only 6 people that is a pretty good shot at $100

SealsWithClubs poker room has  over 400 players online. Buy in from .01 to 60btc.      BTCSportsMatch lets you bet sports with vig free lines!  Best kept secret in bitcoin....          LocalBitcoins.com is very user-friendly now for bank transfers.  You don't have to live close to trade when in the same currency area.
Electrum client is awesome. Try it. And please stop sending bitcoins to sites run by security newbies, or don't complain when you lose everything.

15 minutes to T-time folks...and only 3 players signed up. We need 6. This is a $100 pot for peanuts in free player points with only 6 players if it goes at all... I really don't see any other Bitcoin casinos offering anything close to this kind of easy cash. We'll keep trying to run this tourney as a way to give back to real-money players in the casino at large. If it doesn't go off this weekend, we'll do it again next weekend. So... come get in it!!!

hey foggyb, I'm not sure how you could be fully blocked more than you would be from a US IP... but I PM'd you ... if you let us know your account name and/or the IP you're trying to reach us from, we will whitelist it for you provided we can confirm that it's not in the US.

Well, tournament canceled. Couldn't give it away.

This hour and next hour's hourly freerolls will both be bumped up to $5 to thank the players who showed up for this. We'll try again next week. Over and out.
