I attended the Bitcoin meetup in Toronto yesterday. It was pretty sweet. ~40 people showed up.

Cool dudes from i4see came down from Montreal to demo prototypes of new payment processing/hardware wallets that use fingerprint recognition. http://www.linkedin.com/company/i4see

Mr. Peter Todd gave a talk on off-chain transactions. He spoke at Bitcoin conference as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d3LA8KpdMQ

The Bitcoin Alliance of Canada is shaping up (http://www.bitcoinalliance.ca/), founder Anothony Di Iorio is also the organizer of the meetups.

Overall, really nice place to have a couple drinks with some Bitcoiners. http://www.meetup.com/Bitcoin-Toronto/
