BTC/USD seems to be stabilised at around $420-$430.

Thoughts and predictions where it's going to next?

Even though it has been passed 3 months since the first post in this topic, the price of bitcoin is the same ~415 USD, i think that the massive grow of ethereum has take traders to trade from bitcoin to ethereum but i believe that bitcoin will not go under $400 this month.

There surely will be a few traders that have made the BTC/ETH ticker their main ticker, but it's just a matter of time before the insanely high price comes down. It will probably take a few month as the ETH hype is still running strong.

I seriously dont get what the hype is about.

Esp when a major alt coin exchange vanishes after being on this forum for like 2 years + that should pretty much worry them..

I can see why some hold value cause like just-dice they use clams, but i dont get with ETH.

Ethereum is getting major attention as of late maybe that's casting a shadow over bitcoins

Keep hearing about that coin and yet I have no idea what its value is, have to look into it

Bitcoin should go up at least 2 more times before the summer I would think. Usually dips in Sept. If I recall correctly.

but if you ask me ETH is 99% hype 1% an altcoin that you want to check out. this massive hype is the reason why you keep hearing about it every corner you turn.

Couldnt agree more about ETH 99% hype,with all the new about ETH on how good its is,and a recent black propaganda saying "bitcoin is dead move to eth" seems like eth is the one dying and its "15 minutes of fame" is over.

I am surprised how strong Bitcoin is. Have expected to we dive down to 350ish due to all fud, attacks and shit around Bitcoin but price really settles at 400-420ish. Bitcoin really show its strength these days and i am very optimistic about future because if price resist all that crap around, we can expect bright future when all that ends.

Its hard to say for what is going to happen in the future with the value. And of course we all hope that the price will rise for a long time. But you dont know when it will start and that is the problem.
I hope that a lot of people can get some profit of it and that they are also using Bitcoin very much. That will be great.

Whales & miners are obviously on Blockstream side, it's the only reason it's not dropping like a rock. Fundamentals were never been worse. It's a miracle it's priced like this, it's a miracle hy whales & miners are supporting Blockstream. But I guess 75 mil USD were carefully spent on bribing....

of course they are supporting blockstream. i don't expect anything else from them. they know everything will be sorted out, so they don't have anything to worry about. there is too much fud at the moment. the majority of this fud is aimed against bitcoin. and look, bitcoin is holding pretty strong.

Casting shadow over Bitcoin? Come on, these are big words. You should spare them when something really big happens. For now, Bitcoin seems unthreatened and let's where ETH in the dump aftermath. As I believe after such a strong hype, a solid dump is imminent.

if the past is any indication then $500 is possible to happen but i think it is not going to happen in the next month unless something happens.

You never know what will happen with the value and that is the problem. We all hope of course that it will be more worth.
But you dont have it under control and that is bad. So you must take risks when you are going to make an investment.

after three month, the price is still in the same levels between 450 and $400. but as the halving is getting closer, I believe that the price will bypass this level to $500 soon within the few next weeks

positive true, bitcoin will touch more than $600 after halving and for me bullish trend will start in april price up slowly. situation now it's like trader is make new bottom price for bitcoin maybe they see halving come in this year.

whats next? price rise, not large, by 20$, but small pump will happen for sure, i remember lots of stable bitcoin weeks and almost always, next week, we had a bitcoin rise, then of course small dump and back to almost same price as before

Yes, it is No.1 crypto currency among all other and strongest too, it was invented first and all other are just copies of it, so no one can compete it and can replace it in the struggle for become more attractive crypto currency. So, no wonder in it's prices settling above $400 price levels.

Yes, it is No.1 crypto currency among all other and strongest too, it was invented first and all other are just copies of it, so no one can compete it and can replace it in the struggle for become more attractive crypto currency. So, no wonder in it's prices settling above $400 price levels.

Yes that is the price we can expect in long run as I don't see it falling $400 as we are expecting that price will rise in future, but I don't think it will fall below  $400 in future.

The price at 420 dollar is pretty stable, well not exactly stable of course because the bitcoin never been stable but its staying around this price.
And I think it will be for a pretty long time here, it will maybe go to the 500 dollar slowly.

Its good to see that it is stable and rising slowly and we can expect $500 at the time of halving or before that, but it won't go back below to $400.

there was quite a bunch of support lines already at $380s and I suppose that is what worked quite well as a support. All and all, breaking $350 would be quite a task that would require really bearish setup.
Having said that, I also don't see many arguments in favour of going higher. I believe this price reflects the status quo: many people (already invested) hyping halving and lack of real new developments that could further spur the adoption of Bitcoin.
