Introcucing the first in-wallet altcoin generatorGenerate any altcoin with any algorithm from inside your wallet Get your altcoin ready from scratch to operational in a couple of hours Algorithm: 100% PoSCoin supply: 10.000.000 BUILDStake gain: 5% annual Stake age: min 7 days - max unlimitedIn-wallet altcoin generatorBased on a combination of open source scripts, mixed with our own input we managed to create a working altcoin generator. To use the generator, all you need to do is fund your wallet with a minimum of 15.000 BUILD and stake for minimum 7 days.A new tabpage will be accessible to start generating your own altcoin in a few clicks! Enter the desired specifications, like algortithm, supply, block time, premine amount, logo, ... and let your wallet generate you a shiny new altcoin in minutes! All your coin variables will have unique generated values, so it will be impossible to tell if the coin has been generated by coinbuilder or got made by hand. By default, you can select 4 different QT wallet styles, based on your own custom themes. The output will be a fully functional source code, ready to deploy to your GitHub from inside the wallet. Windows and MAC executable compilation needs to be done by the user. Having a hard time to compile the wallets? Alternatively, select the 1-click upload option to send your source to our server, and we compile your wallet within 12 hours.
For each coin you build, 7500 BUILD will be deducted from your balance and get destroyed by sending them to a non existing, provably unspendable address, decreasing total supply of BUILD.
The chosen distribution model is 100% presale. This means all excessive coins remaining after the presale rounds will be destroyed. Our presale will be held in 3 different stages for maximum exposure and attention. We have been contacted by the cryptocurrency exchange platform c-cex.com to escrow our presale. After negotiating for some time, we came to terms that benefit the developers, the exchange, and most importantly, the end users. The presale will still be staged in 3 different settings. Step 1: First round public presale OPEN NOW25% of the supply will be put on sale during 1 week at a fixed rate of 0.00001BTC per BUILD.Step 2: Second round public presale50% of the supply will be sold during 3 weeks. During this time, the unsold coins from Stage 1 are getting divided amongst our Signature campaign holder The rate at this stage is 0.000016BTC per BUILD.Step 3: Final round public presaleThe remaning 25% of the supply will be sold during 1 week. Unsold coins from Stage 2 and Stage 3 are getting destroyed. The rate as this stage is 0.000022BTC per BUILD.Special conditions arise on the escrowing exchange side; The funds from Stage 1 will be available after the holding period in order to fund Stage 2 (Contests, signature campaigns, ...) The escrowing exchange acknowledges that the wallets will be only publicly released after Stage 3, and general ICO rules apply to both Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the escrow. So, what changes?Nothing, except there are no longer limitations on the distribution rounds, and the unsold coins from Stage 1 are getting distributed amongst signature campaigners. For those who already reserved, your coins are still reserved and you will receive them the second the wallet gets released for public. What made you do this? This option gives us the most flexibility, while offering more security to potential investors. It's also simpler than keeping up with Google spreadsheets To subscribe to the presale, please go to the escrowing exchange website: https://c-cex.com/?p=build-btcJanuary 2016: Wallet release March 2016: In-wallet QT cross compiler to compile win/mac QT wallets Unlock your C.A.T. license by holding and staking BUILD. We're getting flooded by 'shitcoins' that get created for free, or by mainstream shitcoin creators. Since you need BUILD credits inside your wallet to generate a coin, and wait until they stake, it will stop the mainstream kids from creating 50 coins a day. Combine this fact with the decreasing supply by destroying coins, and you know not every regular kid will use the generator. Coinbuilder aims for the crowd that has a great concept, but don't want the coin to be created by some shitcoin service (and getting exposed by a simple look at the source).

Fun concept, really hope it doesn't turn into a 20 new coins per day thing again. It would only benefit the BUILD holders since every generated coin decreases the total supply, making the demand for it go up

Well, like it or not, it's a forum and I'm allowed to post in here. No matter what I've done in the past. Your PR.. wow. "At any given time." isn't an answer. You're selling tokens, coins, shares, or call it whatever you want, without having a product. I wanted to invest 3-6 BTC in this, depending the answer, but now I'm sure I wont. Plus, it's quite expensive. I could even post with a newbie account, but, meh. You lost a potential investor. Yeah, I know, you don't care. GL HF.

From the OP All your coin variables will have unique generated values, so it will be impossible to tell if the coin has been generated by coinbuilder or got made by hand.
Nothing is 'free of charge'. The free of charge coins are just plain rubbish. One look at the source and you know enough. Also, free coins rarely have any options you can change. It's like asking the difference between a Dacia buster and a Audi R8. It's also about implenting usefull things inside a wallet, providing a usefull utility to the end user. Or should i have created another drug, charity or whore coin...

I have been daydreaming about a similar concept for months but I lacked the abilities to realize it. How I originally thought about it was that the altcoins you generated were sidechains that had their genesis blocks signed by your address and it's config included in the main blockchain. That way you had all your altcoins in a single wallet. Thanks for releasing this coin.

Yes - The full source will be available so BUILD can contribute to future like projects. The max stage age can still be altered afterwards if the community feels this is not needed, but those are the initial specifications as-is right now.

Looks like its a little late to wait and invest for a few , NOT SAYING THIS IS A SCAM, but an Escrow would be nice . I really kind of like the concept behind the project myself , BUT , Escrow would be nice , white paper or not. I don't have much to invest but i have a tiny bit and would actually consider IF there's Escrow , especially since it's a very interesting ideal .
Thanks, TimSweat

Very interesting idea! and cudos on compiling a working script for multiple algo's! That couldn't have been an easy task. However with the current and previous) influx of sh*t coins I'm a little worried about this much power being in the hands of someone unsure of how to maintain the code. As someone who has attempted to build multiple coins by hand editing the source (sometimes with luck and other not) I have to say this is a double edged sword. All in all, It's a wonderful creation to make a developers life easier in creating a great and complete shell for them to add their personal developments and flair.

Oh, gee, what do you know... lol Ive seen some really nice looking projects turn out to be complete bullshit. Anyone remeber this one? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1174503.0Im not even sure i agree with this concept anyway.. makes for a more diluted ecosystem. The only good thing is that it's expensive so not everyone will come out enough to participate. The specs are good, i just wish you could offer a different service other than altcoin creation. The problem with icos is that nobody ever delivers. Whether it be not at all and stealing your funds or selling you nothing but an idea and never following through (or never intended to). Exactly why i dont mess with em.

Allright, back on topic guys For those asking for escrow; The funds of Stage 1 are going to be used to Stage 2 (bounties, campaigns, ...), so those funds are needed. I'm considering of having Stage 2 (and/or) Stage 3 escrowed since i don't need those funds immediately. Before launching Stage 3, i'll have someone review and vouch the sourcecode. Most likely, that will be Earlz. Regarding the seednodes, you have to host them yourself, but you can add as many as needed nodes in the generator. For those asking about the 'secret generator' as mentioned in the OP timeline, this is still to be announced, but i'm working on something with Sampey These functions highly depend on the total amount of BUILD that get's sold during the 3 stages.

I could release it as closed source until Stage 3 is completed. Why? Plain simple, we both know that the source and my efforts will be cloned within hours after releasing the Github.

March 2016: In-wallet QT cross compiler to compile win/mac QT wallets So you plan to release a 1GB wallet or something? It does not make any sense to compile QT 4/5 inside a coin QT wallet, which is compiled with QT. People will also get a lot of undefined reference compile errors if you pre-compile the dependecies for them, and they use a different type of OS Also your coin needs to be opensource since you will fork it from somewhere, we all know the rules when creating a coin that came from bitcoin/etc. And what is that about a bought hero account? This is far from looking promising imo Edit: who are you kidding man? You emptied your unescrowed ICO wallet. For bounties? If so, no reason to transfer this BTC yet.

The coin is 100% opensource. The closed source part was about why i won't release the wallet yet. The answer was to prevent instant cloning of my source. Feel free to wait until Stage 3, when the source will be verified.

Hey,
I'm a bit noob to all this. And I absolutely don't understand what's the topic is about xD
The idea is that you have to fund a certain amount, and then it allows you to create a new coin, which value is based on the escrowed fun? Something like that?
Sorry if I don't understand a thing ^^'

It's also simpler than keeping up with Google spreadsheets To subscribe to the presale, please go to the escrowing exchange website: https://c-cex.com/?p=build-btc

How much are you involved to the Altcoin Section here??
In the Altcoin Section you have never posted before your OP on November 11, 2015
I feel uneasy about it
Correct. I never bothered to post in the altcoin sections. And having a 5 page topic here, I see why i never did...

So what options will be available inside this creator how indepth can a person get to make their coin and actually produce something that's not just a fork with a pos or ect. aka is there the ability to add onto the code for the coin and or modify the wallets or add features to the coins interested in this idea but the price point for an unshown product is quite high but I do like the idea

here's the plan.
get enough coins. -->make my own private network/fork. spend coins to use wallet capabilities. delete fork. start again.
sell coins on real network at any point, but keep private network for multiple uses.
If one is this technically savvy, it would probably be easier to just clone some code from git and do it the old fashion way. Cheaper too Or use one of them web based free coin generators Or use BUILD as the way intented.

For your information, it seems like some people mix up comma with dots.
You need 15000 BUILD to unlock the generator, and 7500 BUILD for every coin generation that gets destroyed after generation.
Thank you

Now we have killerjoegreece back after his fleecing of WHY coin scam has died down.
And we have a dev who thinks that anyone who wants to make more shit coins will play by the BUILD rules.
And one day we'll have a 3Gb wallet that will pump out these shit coins as fast as we can make it.
Europeans use 15.000 Americans use 15,000

Exactly. It is pretty easy to do, no need to have even basic development skills, just some network-admin knowledge. And... this is just one of the ways. In any case this will be hacked one way or another (some profi developer will do that, then sell for pennies to noobs wanting to generate shitcoins for free). The only thing which gives me some peace of mind - is that coins created that way will be easily distinguishabe, regardless of what developer says. After one-two shitcoins go out, the pattern will become visible. Well, maybe I am biased, I just don't like the idea to let everyone an easy way to create coins, without even contacting some real developer. We'll be flooded by shit. From another hand... something like this would have been created at some point, it is inevitable. As soon as methods of writing something become standartized, someone will create a generator, like Microsoft did with its development studios. One additional qustion: wil it generate PoW or PoS, or hybrid coins, or maybe even masternode coins baased on Dash core..?

The pattern will be very difficult to recognize as it generates truly random values. And yes, you can create any coin you like. If it exists in crypto, BUILD can generate it.

ETH exists in crypto... Buyers beware....to me this looks wreaks of another Bob and co. scam with a purchased account. There is no way this guy can deliver what he's promising. Look back at EVERY recent c-cex ICO, they've all been Bob scams with overpromised tech.

Oh my, So i'm no longer bitspender, but now i'm Bob? In case you missed it, iGotSpots along with Bob introduced the rumour that i'm bitspender. Of course you know why. Because i'm sailing in their waters hosting an ICO they have no hold on, or profit from. That might be the very first reason why spots tried to extort me for not posting that article. This is the last reply ever about 'fake accounts', and who i 'might' be. I'm Tarmi. Always been, always will be.

So just a question out of curiosity, Is this coin already available to the public? Also if it isn't has anyone seen this coin and wallet do what you claim that it is capable of doing? And lastly and not to bash on the idea behind this coin and wallet but don't you think Crypto has enough shitcoins and scamcoins already without giving every Tom,Dick and Harry the capabilities to create their own? I mean I get that lots of people would love to have their own coins and create their own coins but don't some people think that maybe Crypto should start trying to clean up the cluster fuck of useless shitcoins that are released daily instead of promoting it? Just a thought But I would really like to know if anyone has seen working proof of this wallet and what not? Thanks

In fact, all our wallet does is what you should be doing by hand. So it's not like we are promoting some super high-tech never-heard-of-before thing. The functionality we offer, is freely and widely available on the internet. All we did was integrate it inside a wallet (basic C code, right), and attach some condition and advantages to it. Those are, for example, you need to stake 15000 BUILD to unlock the panel, and every generation round costs you 7500 BUILD that get destroyed to a proven unspendable address. Another one is the one-click upload to Github, and compilation within 12 hours. Also there are close to zero limits on the coin you can generate. So are we promising something unheard before? No. Is it all so difficult? No. Do such generators already exists? Yes. This means our coin is not impossible to release or to create. Everybody could have carved out a wheel from stone, it just took the clever ones to do it first.

Everybody could have carved out a wheel from stone, it just took the clever ones to do it first. No I totally understand and know that there are millions of tutorials on the web to create your own altcoins and even sites that people can pay to have their own altcoins created, what I meant is that there is a lot of people who aren't tech savvy enough to make their own coins through tutorials or can't afford to pay someone to create a coin for them. I mean I commend you guys for creating something that will do the work for someone wanting to create their own coin but I was just saying that don't you think this simplicity you will be providing to the everyday trader is going to just add tons and tons of more shitcoins that will just flood this already garbage filled environment lol You are right about being the first to take a step like this and it is clever that no one ever thought about it before. Now one other thing I wanted to know is how are people supposed to know that your coin and wallet does what you claim if no one has seen it yet or there isn't any videos or anything demonstrating this project? I just think that if you are already collecting BTC from people for this ICO sale that you would have at least demos of the wallets and showing what they can do so people at least knew that if they did invest BTC into this project that they weren't just sending BTC to empty promises no? And don't take what I'm saying as claiming that this is a scam or that your project doesn't exist I just find it odd that you would ask for the BTC investments without at least showing the people what they are investing their BTC into? Okk stop your ass licking with the kid on the block and answer 2 good questions that can be constructive from a buyer's views Simmer down mate lol First off you could maybe approach your questions in a more productive way instead of saying Who the FUCK are you? and Why do you need BTC? You ever hear that saying you catch more flies with honey? I mean I understand angry people in crypto always screaming scam all the time because there are tons of scams in crypto and I'm not defending the people of this coin but I'm sure there are better ways to ask questions like you asked right? Also the one thing that always confused me about Crypto is why do so many people talk rude or talk smack from newbie sock puppet accounts? Like is it really that hard to just use your main account to ask or criticize a coin in it's thread? Not bashing on you for that just genuinely would like to know why so many people here have to have multiple upon multiple accounts? Cheers

No I 100% agree with you about any project that is an ICO mate I don't believe that any project deserves BTC before it launches but that's just my opinion right lol I know some people do trust ICO's and invest into them but it's just never been my cup of tea. I also get that people get peeved when their questions go ignored or unanswered and personally if I have to ask more than twice then I usually don't bother with that coin or project because I believe that any Dev or Team can take the time to answer their communities questions right? But I also don't blame some Devs and Teams for ignoring people who generally come across rude when they ask their questions as well so it's really a two way street there. But then again you said that you asked multiple times and that would get annoying. Anyways I ramble a lot sometimes so I'll leave that as that lol Cheers

This is the last reply ever about 'fake accounts', and who i 'might' be. I'm Tarmi. Always been, always will be.
Could you confirm it then one last time for everyone, by signing a message from a bitcoin wallet that you have used a long time ago, thus proving to be the same user as the one who created the account as you claim to be? Edit: if you do this, then i'll buy your coin.

Edit: if you do this, then i'll buy your coin. He could easily still in contact with the account seller ? Yes, but it would make it more believable at least. And the pre-sale doesn't seem to be going too well in a self-moderated thread. The only reason I wrote that is to make me wanna buy some as I generally like the idea but don't like how it's going for the coin. Maybe he needs a good PR manager or someone to run the signature campaign, but right now it's not going great and it's a shame since it's a innovative coin for once.

We don't know until we see it, we can just speculate. However the coinbuilder feature integrated will be a breakthrough if it works, so i want to see it. i already made several logos, just to be ready, when time comes. And all are awesome. If things goes in right direction then, rebranded CoinBuilder with logo, graphics, new wallet with coin builder option integrated will be boom. we will see...

So from what i've understand at this moment in time:
It seems my ICO is standing in the way of another ICO ran by the regular scam teams. (Yes, those who are extorting me) Therefore spamming my topic with FUD, and nothing but FUD.
Youtube video of the wallet will be ready before the weekend. Yes, for the lol. I'll just wait until the Stage 1 is nearly over to make you all look like a fool.
Any posts not related to this project, or any FUD of any kind by anyone get's deleted without exception.
On the other hand, you guys are helping me a lot since stage 1 is the cheapest stage to buy in. Feel free to FUD about it, after my proofs, wallet release, and future update regardig C.A.T., people can buy in at stage 2 and 3, way after your scam ICO is over.
I know i'll still be around.

You do need funds inside the wallet to generate a coin. Those fund will be destroyed after the creation, so the total supply keeps decreasing.

I don't understand why do you delete my criticism? Afraid of getting debunked? We've been there before, somewhere on page 2 of this topic. Only BUILD related posts here please. Do your sales talk somewhere else Why did you delete my post where I say that you bought that account? I have also proof for that, but waiting for the last day of the ICO. And by the time the iGotSpots cheerleaders discover they are wrong, they still can buy in at Stage 2 or Stage 3 Have you noticed by the way who is writing on that topic... Hi, just few words about my collaboration in this project. I was contacted by tarmi asking me if i was interested in sell "batch" CAT copies. He told me about a project where users could get CAT staking coins. I told yes and i explain him how a CAT Purchase works. I was very clear and transparent "You must tell me number of CAT copies, i will tell you price, you pay, i will give you copies". Nothing more nothing less. Than this topic was open and i confirm that CAT collaboration was legit (with a message in the first pages). Then i start receive unexpected PM from users. 3 Kinds of PM - Be aware of that project because..... - If you are collaborating on this project it means that this project is legit so i will buy BUILD - Is this project legit? So these are my answer : - I'm not involved in this project more than receive a request of CAT Batch copies and prepare them. - I Don't now anyone behind this project - I don't have any reason to trust or not trust this projectAs i told to tarmi, my reputation is very important, so i ask for guarantees about our partnership. Actually no guarantees received (words have no value for me) If i receive guarantees i will write about it in this topic. There's an imprecision in the OP: Just enter your bitcointalk username in your wallet, and hold your BUILD for 30 days to get your personal C.A.T. license in your wallet! It's not IN YOUR WALLET, it's only "to get your personal C.A.T. license" TL;DR I don't know nothing about this project, i don't know who is behind this project, my only agreement is to prepare CAT copies to tarmi after payment receive.

If I understand part of the reason to buy is 20,000 Build (.2 BTC) is it gets me a C.A.T. license which usually costs .5 BTC
But C.A.T. says he asked for guarantee (money - not words) but received no guarantee. That means I have to buy 20,000 Build and hold 30 days and trust that you actually buy the C.A.T. licenses at discount and deliver them (not in wallet per C.A.T.). That's a lot of trust.

At moment it's seems a risky bussines i will watch from outside and if the dev showns to be trustworthy then i will enter, too many times scamed in last year for take this kind of risk

Yeah, right, money (BTC) not words. For 4 Reason : - I have guarantees (in that case tarmi words) to sell for sure at least X Cat copies. So, if this is sure, i think it's not a problem to get amount for some "prepaid" copy. - People who have important projects must have BTC to finance themself and collaborations. Invest first, Roi After - If i receive BTC and this is all a scam i can try to refund people scammed. So in this case i will work like an escrow. - I'm loosing time with PM and to follow this things. And that wasn't in my agenda.

Just found this on ccex, and seeing the thread seems a bit empty, I mean a couple of pages with no dev interactions, indeed we need more guarantee to be confident with this project, that from my pow is interesting, but my fear is that could be even a fake project made to rise some btc, maybe this fear is shared, there's no a really good request on ccex.

So, the C.A.T. integration was originaly planned for ~March 2016 like mentioned at the timeline. Sampey can confirm we've been sending messages long before BUILD got announced.
We need to understand the position of Sampey on this matter, and I respect him protecting his reputation by this message. In no way does he imply BUILD to be fake or scam. Read carefully instead of making conclusions.
He asked me yesterday to prepay 50 licensed, and gave me about 3h time to do so. As i've replied him, even releasing that amount of BTC from my coinbase vault will take up to 48h of delay.
I will prepay him those licenses, so he can confirm that BUILD has x amount of licenses ready for the users.
Meanwhile;
We're looking for users to review and test the coinbuilding functionality during Stage 2.
Minimum requirements:
- Sr Member - No negative trust - Proven coding skills
Those people will receive the wallet without any restriction on it, like the need to stake to unlock. I trust this people not to share the source around or keep it for personal use! For review and testing only.
More info during Stage 2.

This is a lot of news. If I've understood, now you've an agreement with sampey, that you will pay him something like 50 CAT copies in advance, it's a big deal, if it will happen in that 48hs, the stage 2 could become a sold out. Nobody move that amount of BTC just like a gamble. Sadly I can't code to be a beta tester. But I think that the wallet should be user friendly or who want to make a coin should be a coder? If someone is already a coder he can make a coin by himself with no need of your wallet. Even someone with no code skill should try it and let you know how does it feel.

That is to verify the quality of the generated code The GUI is very user friendly so even the guy without any knowledge can build a coin. More like this http://screencloud.net/v/mnL8 (still in progress ) since we keep shifting GUI elements to make it user friendly. Right now, the plan is to go with tabbed pages for every step.

And i confirm that, 50 prepaid core. 50 Is not a random number, it's a quote of "We'll be buying a minimum of 50 core licenses to start with. This amount is guaranteed, even if the presale fails to sell out enough." This is written by you right? You can confirm without problems I gave you few times because - I need to write something in this topic - I tought you had funds to buy these "guaraneed" licenses. I will prepay him those licenses, so he can confirm that BUILD has x amount of licenses ready for the users. Ok but actually there's no PM in my BOX about the last PM i send you yesterday. I Will be VERY VERY VERY Happy to confirm on this topic the received payment copies So what's next?

this is really interesting indeed, there's any ETA to the closing of this agreement? It will give a very hard push to the price. Looking forward to read some news about it. This is the reason why I will buy or not

Also to Sampey; Like i told, it takes some time to release that amount from my coinbase vault. It has a delayed mechanism, nothing to change about that. Users can still buy in during Stage 2-3, when Sampey can confirm we have the licenses prepaid to him. This is the very same reason why our presale is running in Stages. Every stage brings more security. Stage 1 is about to close in case you missed it by the way

I'm really skeptical of any / all new projects and I usually dont buy icos anymore.. but something about this project really grabbed my interest though. After carefully reviewing all facts, fud, positives, negatives Ive
decided to throw in some btc.
Dev seems to have put fourth effort into this project and has gone above and beyond to address fud accusations. He has also contacted ccex to host ico to put everyones concerns at ease. contacted other devs in
cryptosphere to corroborate with his project
C.A.T. bot license is definitely a plus.. everything so far looks promising, good luck with your project tarmi, I look forward to future announcements

Hi, the coin seems interesting but I've some doubts about the coin we need to hold in the wallet to unlock the options to make a coin and some other questions. If I'm not wrong there are services that allow people to make their own coin paying something like 0.05 BTC and they give you a working coin, with all you need, from the wallet to the host for a month. With BUILD we have to hold 15k coin to unlock the coinbuilder, and with those 15k we can make 2 coin paying 7500 BUILD for each, those BUILD will be destroyed right? how? At the current ICO price making 2 coins will cost us 0.15 BTC, while using that services we need 0.1 for 2 coins, and I don't think BUILD wallet will make us even a working node, we have to pay to have it. But, just think about the stage 3, where coin will be sold for 0.000022BTC that means that we need 0.33BTC worth of BUILD to unlock special option, so 0.165BTC (7500 BUILD) to make our own coin. I think that the coinbuilder could be interesting only if the price will go really low. Because @0.000022 it's not really cheap to make a coin. Unless the service your wallet provide is definitive and perfect.
Another question about the copies you have to buy directly to Sampey, you're saying that you need some days to let coinbase unlock your funds, but really you keep that amount of BTC inside an exchange? You don't have any outside?
