In my country, two banks accept bitcoin, and exchange it as a currency.))
How and why? Accepting bitcoin is a stupid thing for any bank around the world. What banks are you talking about? Give the names please.

Directly, No, The maximum that was achieved right now are bank accounts accepting accounts related to and with bitcoin but nothing direct like taking bitcoin or offering interest on it. I don't see the meaning too, P2P loans and BTC won't work with banks.

To the best of my knowledge no bank accepts bitcoin. Banks are controlled and regulated by a central authority called central bank which formulate and force monetary and fiscal policy on to the banks under central bank for the proper functioning of and facilitating the flow of fiat currencies. Since bitcoin is decentralized digital currency and it doesn't have any authority or isn't controlled by anyone so I doubt if any bank will ever accept bitcoin.

i dont think so at least i dont know any of such banks
In fact, there is still no bank who totally accept bitcoin and if there is a bank who totally accept bitcoin I think they can’t handle it well because bitcoin doesn’t have exact value and the price is always change. However, having bitcoin bank is also nice idea and I hope in the near there will be a bank who totally accept bitcoin.

There are no banks who accept bitcoin, but with the majority of banks you can withdraw money to an exchange and buy bitcoin. I use kraken and when i want to buy bitcoins i just iniatiate a SEPA transfer and voila i can buy bitcoin.
Indeed. There is still no bank who accepts bitcoin as a deposit of their client. In addition to that, I guess that if there’s a bank who totally accept bitcoin I think they can’t handle it fully because the price is always change. Lastly, I hope in the near future there will be bank who totally accepts bitcoin as a deposit of their client.

Two of them where thinking that an exchange was a bank when it clearly wasn't the case. The other guy that I asked which claimed his bank accepted bitcoin never came bank to answer what's the name of the bank. And no, that Russian project that hit the news is not bank and it actually converts immediately your coins to fiat.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
I think there is, here in my country they entertained bitcoins, especially security bank. We withdraw out coin in that bank without any atm or debit cards. And with that I can assume that they store bitcoins, because they exchanging it into a real money. I know in the future a lots of bank will do it too.

Bitcoin does not seem to depend on any bank. If the banks usually limit the transfer and receive money during the day but with bitcoin is absolutely not available, you can send arbitrarily in unlimited quantities.

How and why? Accepting bitcoin is a stupid thing for any bank around the world. What banks are you talking about? Give the names please. Yes drop the names of the banks. And yes how does the bank store the coin they receive?? Will they store it in bitcoin value? Like what will happen if in the time you deposit it just $2000 per coin then after a week it pump up to $2500 per coin then people who deposited will come to the thinking they have to get their coin in the bank.. Oh my that was a fool thinking if the bank really accept in that way so I hope not. I will believe if the coin is converted via bank not by storing or accepting coins to store unto.

It will be difficult for banks or financial institutions to recognize bitcoin. Because independence, freedom, bitcoin autonomy only depend on the buyer and the seller.

Precisely, that's why the banks will not like to get involved in money/funds they cannot be assured of controlling by the central bank but a currency that is only regulated by buyers and sellers.

I think no bank accepts Bitcoin because its activities are anonymous and banks are always looking to make their money transparent. Hence they only accept indirectly as you use the exchange to send fiat to your bank. Besides, the price of Bitcoin is unstable which makes banks not willing to trade or hoard it, so they are not ready to accept Bitcoin.

If I'm not mistaken, Bitcoin is not really accepted as a currency in banks but I don't really know. There is a certain alternative cryptocurrency that is somewhat connected to the banks, I think that's Ripple but I don't really know how they work it out. It just destroys the decentralized market that Bitcoin started.
