Did anyone thought about connection between bank's and bitcoin, they are two different worlds. Banks are for fiat, bitcoin is just ruining their business. Same with PayPal and Western Union, bitcoin took piece of their profit.
Banks will never accept bitcoin, maybe better question how can banks contribute to bitcoin, can they? Wink

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
i believe there is in the world , but in fact in my country i not see yet ..
Well, for the moment there are no banks that accept bitcoin, because bitcoin is not legalized officially, so, although some countries do not prohibit the use bitcoin, but it will not come to the bank, except bitcoin to form its own bank. well, but one day there may be banks that accept bitcoin.
Also its not yet available that bitcoin to be accepted. i think it is because banks are afraid of frauds or scam.. and they are heard many times about bitcoin that many people are already scam that is why i think government are afraid but i think they are studying bitcoin for future to be accepted even in local business..

in my opinion that is not entirely true and possibly never will be.
bitcoin is not a stand alone currency like USD, CNY,... where people earn it and spend it as they do with their salary, as long as this is true we need to buy bitcoin with fiat and because of that we need banks and any bank that starts accepting bitcoin and lets his customer buy bitcoin directly through the bank and even store them there is going to earn a lot of money and become the pioneer in this business.
which bank do you know who doesn't like making lots of money?

There is a FOMO brewing...

I didn't hear to any bank accept bitcoin. But I heard that some country in Africa plan to create their national crypto currency, in that case banks will have to work with this crypto as with fiat, but that's gonna be possible only inside of this concrete country.

And it's probably not going to accept Bitcoin. Having their own cryptocurrency is completely different to working with Bitcoin - it's probably only going to be a currency that will work from Satoshi's idea. It's the step to both demonetisation and globalization though, and I don't like that at all. I'd rather have to pay with paper money for normal tasks like I do right now, and use an anonymous cryptocurrency for things I'd prefer to pay for with my identity hidden from others.

It is even considered as a tool for laundering money by some other government agencies and countries. Because here in our country the central bnak did warned already us that bitcoin can be used in that illegal activity and suggesting to quit using with it. So by declaring that, it is clear that there is no chance that a bank will accept bitcoin here.

It is basically the same bullshit that government agencies often reply to requests sent by citizens (though courts are beyond competition in this regard). You ask them precise questions but get as a reply something which is totally irrelevant to your inquiry. They obviously fail to understand that by doing this they lose any respect that people might feel toward them. In this case, they are warning about bitcoin being used for illegal activities and suggest that you should stop using it as though you are already engaged in some criminal business involving Bitcoin...

Why don't they suggest to stop using their own money as well since it is also used for illegal activities?

That's a fact here in my country, actually it is their first statement about bitcoin if I'm not mistaken that was told way back 2013-2014. Yeah that's the fact that they aren't realizing that our own currency is being use for different illegal activities. Of course it is a government issue, they won't allow someone to stop the usage of our own money.

Well thats really the first impressions of most people since the rise of deep web and they are getting curious of deepweb and also it involves bitcoin in it ! So at first if they hear the bitcoin they think it is only use in illegal activities but not! Money too our own fiat but some of it is not using it in bad.

I think compare the last year we will experience more people are trusting bitcoin right now.. for those new about bitcoin or if they didn't know about bitcoin they are always think that bitcoin is scam or use for illegal activities this is what i experience before and i think this year we will see more people can trust bitcoin since bitcoin is already adopted and more company and merchant right now are accepting bitcoin as payment unlike before.

That's definitely the lack of information. Bitcoin itself just a cryptocurrency which is created in purpose to make your transaction in digital world easier and convenient, the only one who can scam is those HYIP services and such as that. But, honestly, i don't think that the banks is really that dumb to not realize that bitcoin is just a currency, they're more likely not thinking that way, they just seeking the safest option i guess

I don't know if the government here is going to change their mind about it or maybe if they are going to see on how they are going to see it very profitable and has the capacity to generate some profit for taxation. But still, I don't know what they are thinking now and there is no bank who is ready to accept a decentralize crypto currency.

No. What does a bank do with Bitcoin anyways when they do have a lot of Fiat currency in hand? But some wallets handle the conversion of Bitcoin to Fiat in a way by depositing Fiat to your bank account if you are really looking for an option of banks accepting Bitcoin that is the only way around it.

There are no banks who accept bitcoin, but with the majority of banks you can withdraw money to an exchange and buy bitcoin.
I use kraken and when i want to buy bitcoins i just iniatiate a SEPA transfer and voila i can buy bitcoin.
yes still no bank is accepting bitcoin but in future when the users of bitcoin will increase then banks must be thinking about to accept bitcoin and they will certainly provide a specific system for it.

I think after bitcoin get accepted by governments, after they will accept the necessary law to regulate bitcoin inside the country - banks will start to work with bitcoin as well. cause of it may be the good source to them for some extra money.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
i believe there is in the world , but in fact in my country i not see yet ..
but i think no one bank accept bitcoin in anywhere because bitcoin is a just crypto currency we can just use it as digitally  and bank just accepting fiat regular currency and if any government accept bitcoin then i hope that bitcoin will become in physical shape and it will be acceptable in bank.

You are right there is no any bank right now in the world which is using bitcoin. as there is no any state which have allowed their institutes to start accepting bitcoin for their uses. Maybe in the future we find to see some of them.

I'm still skeptical it will happen in the future, government has their own brand which is the fiat system. People are really positive with that kind of speculation to happen but I say this, even if we will be very popular that majority of the world's population will use, fiat system cannot be overtaken as the maintream currency that banks regulated.

You're right we don't have the physical form of Bitcoin and that isn't the reason there aren't banks for them because if Bitcoin banks are opened then the whole system of decentralization is defeated but I think the banks can employ the blockchain technology in their transactional dealings in making their fiat even better by preventing double spending as the bank ledger is made public.

Bitcoin was made so that you could store your own Bitcoin and so that no one could manipulate or control it. If a bank accepted it, it would go against Bitcoin. There would also be no point for any Bitcoin user to put their money into a Bitcoin bank. I am pretty sure that there is no banks at the moment that accept Bitcoin.
