If the whole internet goes down, the bitcoin network goes down too.

The balance of all of the address remain unchanged, because of no more new transactions .
Internet is one of the technology we need in order to keep bitcoin working and without it the whole bitcoin network will stop. Transactions will freeze until they turn it back on. But it is not only bitcoin that will be affected as well as the transactions or communication of different companies and industries, it is like a ripple effect, everything that uses the internet for business will be affected. To consider that almost everything rely on internet for communications I guess they won't put down the internet so easily.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Bitcoin motion and rapidly growth is because of internet connection. Without internet connection bitcoin will be in a stagnant place to the particular area where no internet connection. Bitcoin business in other country will go on. No internet connection all over the world is a total bitcoin force to stop in the way of internet connection. Still business must go on no matter what.
You are right, if you do not have the Internet, other businesses can not go on. Now it is the Internet era, most of the global business depends on the Internet, and Bitcoin is no exception.

given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?

home internet and mobile internet goes down

do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away

If internet goes down, the price should be stuck, since no one can buy or sell the price will freeze in time.

We have two scenarios:

1.-Internet goes down for a short time... If that happen then when internet comes back things will go back to normal.

2.-Internet goes down and never come back... If this happens then we can say goodbye to bitcoins, but if this makes you feel better, I can tell you will miss more other internet services than bitcoin.

If there is no internet maybe bitcoin will be lost, and no communication is available to all countries, we will not know what's happening outside of our country, facebook, twitter and other internet connections will be lost.

Well really, if internet would be down, so will be bitcoin, because bitcoin is depending its stability to the internet's speed and capability. so if losing internet is a problem, so as large problem would come for bitcoin. but on the other hand, 98 percent of today's society is using the internet, so i do believe that it isn't possible to ban the internet.

People have become dependent on internet. If internet goes down the whole world will be a mess.Bitcoin network is built on internet. Therefore it goes without saying that bitcoin network will be interrupted if internet goes down. But if a alternative communication method is introduced to build a network of bitcoin then there is no issue of internet going down.

I think that bitcoin is related to internet so if internet goes down , bitcoin network will not work again . It will be a big problem for us because without the internet the system can not work.
We have much much much bigger things to worry about than BITCOIN and cryptocurrency if Internet goes down lmao

Bitcoin will goes down also becuase bitcoin has no physical appearrance. But if they invented a physical wallet and the device that can transfer bitcoin without internet bitcoin will not dissappear
That’s impossible to do that lol, the whole reason BITCOIN is secure is cause of the third party confirms and not anything else

At first I don't believed that internet will be soon goes down but in case it will happen I think the percentage of bitcoin users will also goes down because we all know that this bitcoin will be used with an internet connection and without this it will not function .
It wont drop, it’ll become exactly 0 unless a backup network is setup to mitigate this bullshit lmao, everything takes a hit

I'm sure that internet will not go down. However, to answer your question, what will happen is Bitcoin will fall also. Why? Because Bitcoin can't be used without internet. It is that simple. Internet is the place where Bitcoin lives and plays around.

I think no happen with internet, because it's era of crypto currency now. So, nothing happen with bitcoin. I suppose that this news is way of people who dislike to bitcoin that want to make it lower so as that the users of bitcoin feels panic.

If the internet goes down, Bitcoin is rendered useless, you pretty much can't do anything. The Internet is so widely used today, worldwide, that a total collapse would set us back for decades!

I think the network can not collapse, and now it is the digital world. There are not many things that can not be done online. It can be said that the world can not be separated from the Internet.

If the internet services goes down or shutdown; there will be a big and serious problem that the company and management of bitcoin will face.
I think they should consider offline wallet in order to solution this problem incase this thing happen .

it will definitely crash down together with internet. Bitcoin solely survives thru the internet. Without internet, cryptocurrencies will have no platform for any activity since Bitcoins have no physical counterparts.
