or is it like a haven for scammers...? I wanted to try it out and sent 7 bitcoins for a 5850, I only had 7 bitcoins and after a few emails they decided that 7 was enough, lol, that should've been my first red flag on the deal, I was promised tracking info Monday and have yet to receive an email, did anyone else fall for this ad...? XFX 5850 with an egg cooler (shroud was removed), or was I the only noob that fell for it...? lol...

while this one says 9 BTC, the original ad (same picture) I responded to a day or two earlier started out at 10 BTC with 1 BTC shipping anywhere in the states and 2 BTC for shipping to Canada, I should've known something was up because it was the only reasonable posting in the classifieds given the exchange rate at the time...

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

yep, that site is swamped with at least one scammer, the exact same ad appeared again today, no wonder my card or a tracking # never came...lol, it even has the exact same picture, hopefully at least one person sees this and decides not to contact "emily", if that is even his/her real name...

always use escrow service like clearcoin to buy on classified, NO ONE should be trusted on classified. Once you sent the coin, it's GONE.

http://www.bitcoinclassifieds.net/

honestly, not many good deals, the only one I found was a scam (only 7 BTC lost, but still...), people are crazy, like 105BTC for a 5970, and IIRC 149 BTC for a 6990, again, be careful...

I left bad feedback (revealing the scammer) on the site and emailed the site admin and received an email the next day that the user and their ip has been banned, the "site" may actually be a decent place to do business, but "emily" sure wasn't a legit trader...

I may give it another shot, and just be more careful next time...

I'm really sad that someone has used my website to scam people. I implemented the feedback system to help prevent this in the future, and I've created a system for admins to keep an eye on suspicious users. This system checks various things such as feedback posted by the same IP address, and other things. I also added some tips about trading using Bitcoins.

If anyone has tips to help making my website better, I always like to hear about it! You can contact me here or using the contact form on the website.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.
