I was browsing my negative feedback today and found this:

If you look on my trust it says what he has commented on ohters.
He has stated (through copied and pasted text) this: "MAJOR SCAMMER - HAS MULTIPLE ALTS AND VERY DISHONEST! AVOID! ALWAYS USE ESCROW! "

NO WONDER PEOPLE WOULDN'T ACCEPT MY TRADES/LOANS AND ESCROW SERVICES!!!

I would request that this account is blocked, however, it recently changed hands twise: so the new buyer will lose!

There have been many accounts who have been spamming that same trust rating on the same accounts. IMHO, it's probably someone who has a grudge against the forum and is buying/farming a few forum accounts to spread it.

No, I doubt that's the reason; I don't want to sound offensive, but you've just become a full member and you have absolutely no positive trust ratings whatsoever (including untrusted feedbacks); just two negative ones. People are naturally skeptical and suspicious of all others and you aren't exactly the perfect model of an escrower.

YES, but one of them is from a spammer account, the other, an inroper accusation of spam! With reference of ony one post. How does only one post prove spam?

I was affected too by this retard spam: scammer/dishonest/always use an escrow..
Planned to report him to theymos & BB but after seeing h&co negative trust and the fact that lauda too was affected, i didn't write the pm.
Normally theses kinds of spam need to be removed, if it is up to me then permaban this retard. So pathetic..

I did PM Theymos. It was only about 2 days ago and he hasn't replied yet. I suppose that an Admin of a server is quite busy, and Theymos tends to do most of the blocking! Plus: badbear was offline at the time.

Yeah, I feel ya OP.  I got negative trust from two morons whom I've never done business with.  They just didn't like some of the comments I made.  One straight up lied and said I owe him 1 btc.  The trust system here is pretty damn broken when a lie can go on the record.  I realize that people should be able to make their own judgements, but most people I think will not dig too deep.  Ah well.  I'll consider it a badge of honor.

I was just browsing your trust, it is very funny! If I was needed to and wanted to, I would still do business with you. They have not included references and when something like that can be proven my rule is "no reference, no negative trust". Which is why I constantly review mine and other's trusts before doing business with them.

If people want to make allogations on trust, at least set it to negative trust and INCLUDE EVIDENCE

At this point, you should just ignore feedback spammers. You shouldn't really worry about your trust rating anyways; most people disregard trust ratings that are so broad/spammable, and from users with negative trust ratings.

Grow a thicker skin or I don't think you'll make it out of this forum alive. Ignore 'em and move on.

I was just alerting the community. Once people know about this it is easily rectifiable! Trust scores that are evidently negative and not set that way are stupid! And, trust ratings without references are stupid too!

There was an older thread discussing this matter... I think a couple of people have already PM'ed Theymos (other people than the ones in this thread), but it seems he's a little busy recently.
I do hope he gets kicked, cause i don't like that red mark on my account, especially since i always try to make clean deals and try to be reasonable when talking to somebody.

Sure, it doesn't mean anything, but i know from experience that people do look at red feedback subconsciously. If they have to chose between two equal business partners, but one of them has red untrusted feedback, this partner has less change of being chosen.
Even I take untrusted feeback into account when taking an account as collateral for a loan.
