Can someone explain the pros and cons of each one? Or is maybe point to an extant thread that has comparisons?

I still use blockchain.info wallet. Unreliable before, I have no issues with it now.
I don't see why anyone would prefer online wallet over local one. I use electrum wallet, and am quite satisfied with it. Depending on online wallets is not very smart move imho, and it's much better to really be in control of your coins with a local wallet. Predominantly because of the ease of use! People don't have time, skills or knowledge to download, try, secure and in their opinion take risk securing their own money so they decide to trust a third party on doing this for them. This is not a good decision in my opinion since with Bitcoin we got a first real opportunity on being our own bank! Of course I am talking about bigger amounts! If you are using online wallet to keep 0.05 in it, nobody really cares!

What wallets do you use and which one do you prefer and why?
I have 4 different wallets i use. Well three of them more than one. So i have a paper wallet, a ledger wallet that has a few bitcoin on. Electrum on a pc that doesn't browse the internet. I also have a blockchain.info wallet which i have a small amount of bitcoin that i would be using over the next few days. I've never held more than 2btc in there even though i think they're a safe online wallet. From them all my preference is the ledger nano, reason; super easy to use and very safe.

Well 2 BTC is a lot for some people, for example me.. I would never leave 2 BTC online, only some spare change, just like I wouldn't go out in the street with 800 dollars in my pockets, for me is the same, online are pockets, local wallets are home.

Web wallets compromise security for convenience - actually, not even. Client-based wallets are more convenient for me, but whatever floats whoever's boat. Client-based wallets are as secure as your computer/device you download the client on. As long as you don't have a virus-infested computer, they're relatively secure, although if you had a virus on your computer, logging into your web wallet wouldn't be safe anyways. TL;DR: client-based wallets (such as bitcoin core, electrum, etc.) are a lot better.

i use copay for my computer, and keep a little bit on coinbase also. although it can be risky since it is a web wallet. copay kinda feels like the same experience as coinbase to me but with a safer wallet.

I actually use Localbitcoins as my wallet as they don't charge any withdrawal fees. They pay the miners fees for you, which is a huge advantage.

I myself use 3 different wallets. One is on my Android device, one on my desktop PC and one online.
The one i like the most is on my desktop, MultiBit. I like it because you can quicky generate new deposit adresses and keep track of your incomes and outcomes. I only use Blockchain for some payments, and on my mobile phone i have MyCelium wallet, which i use for mobile/QR code scanning payments.
What wallets do you use and which one do you prefer and why?
I use xapo at first. for my faucets. then coinbase... for gambling transactions. and i use coins.ph as my main wallet. as coins.ph is where i buy and withdraw btc with fiat and viceversa.

I just use blockchain online, because it's easy to manage, safe, and I like it. I started using coinbase on my phone in the beginning, but it's not as good as blockchain.

I too got coin.ph account/wallet. But I'm unable to use it effectively as the most of the depositing and withdrawal options are Indonesia based. I believe coin.ph best suited for Indonesian people. I still stay with blockchain.info for online wallet requirement.

I too recently got coin.ph after a friend's recommendation. I found it is more convenient and useful. Their recent added 7-Eleven service also most useful for depositing funds into my wallet in BTC that too instantly.

I always use Coinbase and blockchain, but mostly try to use Bitcoin-QT as it needs my passphrase in order to get it unlocked, because I believe in security and that's what we use Bitcoins for.

Im going to keep using Core forever, im too used to it. If I need more mobility, I can always move the coins I need to spend to mycellium wallet, but the main BTC stack must remain in Core with all sort of encryption and having the full blockchain downloaded, everything else is not good enough.
