I have been holding Decred from day one. Still a very decent project and I like the fact that even though they don't do that much marketing, the coin is still doing really good I think
Old man, you're very strong I'll tell you, if you hold the Decred coins from the beginning, that's what your self-control and faith is. And in the beginning was the free distribution of Decred coins, unless I'm wrong and my memory does not change.
It's people's choice, they just lose their money in long term, but they can also make a profit in the future..
this is a good time to buy and stake more more more more more Decred

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I've been away for some time, just holding dcr Smiley  Can anyone tell me what's the best wallet out there for Windows 64 bit at the moment? I know there was an older wallet a few months ago that was not being developed anymore.

The Decred coin project is worth investing in long-term positions, and I believe DCR coins will perform very well in the next bull market.

Maybe we can wait a bit longer to invest. The price is still going down now.

Good evening, I would like to know what is the minimum currency "Decred" to start receiving the rewards of the POS system, and what is the percentage (%) of annual average profit?

Today the ticket price is around 95 DCR, but you can check it at https://dcrstats.com/

In case you don't know yet, there is a ticket splitting in test right now that will allow you to buy part of a ticket with much less DCRs.

Really? Wow, I completely missed that. Will this be implemented on the blockchain layer or will there be a pool-style solution, i.e. more of a layer 2 solution? On the blockchain layer, how will the actual voting work? Like, I guess there's still one entity which has to make the call. Is that picked at random?

Will be implemented on the blockchain.
The vote will be only one of the buyers who will be randomly chosen

Good morning, so I win for each ticket would be 1.27% per day?

The coin deserves to be held by investors, the encrypted money market will pick up in the future, and the price of DCR will continue to perform.

No, that's just approximate ROI per ticket. Average voting time for a ticket is ~28 days, if I remember correctly (though, it's possible it could take up to a few months).

edit:

tl;dr

I approached c0 with the MC2 concept from 2013 and merged efforts to develop the system in 2014. I developed a working proof-of-concept for Decred at that time, and then let them refine it while I audit and provide feedback.

Probably your wallet was out of sync or offline at the time you did the transaction.

Yea, wait until it doubles in price then FOMO in. But I would start buying now in increments.

Good afternoon, So, in fact, that 1.29% would be the percentage of profit I would receive at the end of the correct month?

On average yes, the average ticket votes in 28 days, but some vote and a couple days and some take over 100. The more tickets you have the closer you will be to the average each month.
