There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

This forum isn't exactly the best place for actual Decred audience. Go ask around in the Decred forums, you'll get more responses.

In 16 hours the votes to approve or not the marketing companies will be closed.

Both options are excellent and with each ticket is possible to vote in both of them for a more complete campaign.

Exercise your power of decred management. That's the main DCR difference!

Bitcoin is going down the way to become the global store of value. The longest data, biggest trust is in Bitcoin. Ethereum is going down the way to become the platform for all smart contract projects.
Still I think if Decred is in the top 20 will mean that it has a multi billion market cap still 100x bigger from now...so very bullish on decred.

Decred is just a cool coin and I think it should be popular and successful. but there are many other coins except Bitcoin, Ethereum and Decred .

I agree to the "change of language" request. I believe many Decred holders, and potential buyers did not read the FAQ more closely to know the difference between POS staking and Decred "staking" which is essentially "ticket buying" that you use to vote, which you can also delegate to a "staking pool", which is really delegating to a voting service provider.

Decred is rated A+ in its GoLang development report, is completely open source, has the first consensus governance, has treasury governance, atomic swaps and lightening network.  That’s a paper right there if you look each thing up and fill some descriptive sentences in there...

We all know this from the first day that the project is good in all components. But when external reviewers and the press once again very much appreciate the code and the team’s perception, this is doubly pleasant.

I actually love this project - have yet to contribute or own any coins but what caught my eye was your attention to the onboarding experience into the development team and how to contribute to the project. One of the few projects that has developed a great culture (at least from an outsiders perspective) which gets things done.

Happy to see an announcement from you all Smiley

Kudos to Decred Brazil for the ingenuity to have found a useful solution that everyone needs! I wish someone who has already tried it would blog a review, with step by step instructions. Haha.

Other stake pools should follow soon.

I'm glad to see the progress, from a technical perspective decred is stronger than ever before. I hope I will choose the right project to invest.

Similar to PR, market making is something nearly all other projects have (centralized ones internally, open projects by special interests), but is rarely discussed in community.  Bitcoin has numerous market makers and PR firms working.  It’s very interesting to have these things transparently on Decred.
